I look at it like this...

The first half of last night's game is an example of the type of growing pains we'll see out of this team offensively until about January (maybe even February). Meanwhile, the second half versus Utah is the type of offense I expect us to play on a more consistent basis as the season progresses.

Meanwhile, the one thing that has been consistent (and which has been alluded to as a potential weakness with Adelman relative to JVG) is defense. That has to be really encouraging to any Rockets fan.

Has anyone noticed that Yao is not getting stripped as much from behind? His TOs are usually due to errant passes or losing the ball on the way up because he brought it down.

Talk about being lucky, I hope some of you watched the NOH game tonight where they got a 4pt possession out of 2 mistakes by Collins in the same play. Games like that happen, it's extremely hard to play so consistently across a 82 game season.

And be sure to use Babelfish. Babelfish has proven to be a 100% accurate translating machine that provides us with a perfect translation of what the typist intended to say. No mistakes whatsoever.

The problem is that the offense took a step back. RA showed that he is flexible and decided to use some of the old playbook when the offense wasn't working, but this was a step back. I'm worried that the offense will go back to the plodding, slow, and boring style in times of stress (playoffs)

One glaring factor that I notice during Rockets games, is that we only have two starters who can really score. Shane can hit some shots every now and then, but he has never been a consistent scorer.

I think Adleman should consider starting Mike James or Scola. This would add at least a third option which I think would open up the flow of the offense early in games.

But if you take reserves to the starting lineup you don't have really reserves.
Better than last years,we didn't have this kind of players on the bench.

I agree....I love having guys come off the bench who have the potential to put points on the boards.....It may not happen everytime but at least sometimes it can get the starters off of the court and not have to come back into the game in two mintes
