Although Gordon can shoot lights out at times - he's yet to net the Cats a win in doing so. Ergo, if BG goes all berserker on you guys, you probably take the game. That's not to say that I don't wish for it to go down otherwise ;)

In reality, the 14 game home losing streak for the Cats mostly begins with dreadful first quarters. If the Cats come out of the first quarter with the lead, I'd give us a fair chance to topple your apple cart. However, we have led coming out of the 1st quarter probably only a handful of times in the last 25 games.

The book is out on us - well coached teams beat us. It's just as simple as that - they work the ball inside or skip and kick to a 3pter on the weakside and we don't rotate to cover. That sort of thing a couple of times early on and the energy just leaves the building. It's teams that take contested (e.g. bad) long jumpers and turn the ball over easily that leave us in the game and allow for runouts which we do take advantage.

To me, there's a chance the Cats can surprise the Rox with a win and end this dreadful streak but they'll need a very good defensive game (which they "can" do) from the bigs and the normal offensive game from the guards and they need to start off hot like they did at Chicago and Orlando.

I wouldn't be surprised Bobcats run all over our sorry defense. But I think the game will be close. They also have good guards and bad front court. If Mchale still makes Harden ISO to either brick low percentage shots or try to draw fouls, we will loose for sure.

Durant has gone off on us for the past 7 games. We need to stop him tonight.

As I said before, we run and gun, we win. We run the half court set, we lose. Check out the last thread on the timberwolves, page 8. I called it, and we lost even to a bunch of d-league 10 day contract scrubs. We run and gun, we beat everybody.

We've got to stop wasting time with this coach and his system. The young players need to be developed learning sound defensive and offensive principles. Right now both offense and defense are in a shambles and team chemistry has disappeared. It's time for a change.

I am sure you know your team well but from a CHA perspective, if Houston runs, it's to Charlotte's advantage. As bad as our record is, we should be one of the most fit teams in the NBA and we have youth and legs on our side. I am much, much more worried about a team playing a deliberate offensive set which gets the ball easily to the weakside for threes. If you look at the numbers, we are a bad shooting teams wet dream and when the opponent converts 10+ 3pters, we are 1-17.

I'll be honest, I never watch the CHA. I'm just so confident that our run and gun offense works, I am willing to call it. But they ran away from it, and I am extremely dissapointed. When we run and gun, I noticed all the defensive teams were tired midway thru the 3rd quarter, which makes the opposing team miss their shots because of their tired legs. When we run and gun, the perception that our defense is weak is misleading. Take for example the Chicago game. We were up 38 points going into the 4th. So, of course our defense is going to lax a little bit. I think Chicago scored 97 points and we scored 120. If we just stopped scoring and just played defense, the Bulls would have had to score 38 points in the 4th alone just to beat us. Highly improbably if we didn't even want to score and just played defense.

So yea, I am biased on the run and gun offense, and I think we'll win if Mcfail goes back to the run and gun offense. I do think Mcfail is hard headed and refuse to do it, even though we looked like an elite team.
