ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Blazers 4/27/2014 (Playoffs Round 1, Game 4)

Guys chill, there is two halfs to a basketball game. And considering Rockets keep letting the Blazers come back in the 4th. Just chill guys until the W is there.

i think portland knows that now. this kid is the real deal. actually with him in and consistently hitting 3's the offense runs at optimum levels based on the fact with howard in the middle and harden able to do what he does we'll always have open 3 pts shots

Matthews is ballsy. He already got 1 offensive foul called on Harden for that flop, tried it again and got burned with the Harden 3 + tech

 

This. They are idiots and crybabies. They have to, i mean they could have had jordan or hakeem, and durant. They get a free pass to cry all they want.

 

I feel no damn pity for Portland

They were getting all the damn calls first 3 games. Now it's our turn

 

Pretty good 1st half for the Rockets. The difference is made 3 pt shots. But I also think that the Rockets are getting easier shots than Portland, and a lot of that has to do with the presence of the twin towers. It will be interesting to see what adjustments Stotts makes to the size in the paint.

 

Rockets need to keep the lead going into the 4th quarter.

Blazers are going to feel the pressure of losing the HCA and they should tighten up.

 

Are you sure we want HCA? Seems like not having it has been ideal thus far

I like the intensity. I really like it. The problem: no lead has been safe with the Rockets during the season or in the playoffs. The intensity must continue, possibly increase. TT is having an impact, and I would save Daniels for crunch time and let him fire away.

Daniels 3s are like LMA's mid-range jumpers. They always feel like they are going in.
