that talk is overrated (wanting to play portland), the majority of the posters here are somewhat young or dont follow the rest of the nba much, they figured portland was a bad team since they didnt make the playoffs last year and are young, probably thought they were overachieving being in the playoff race and since all the other teams have gone deeper in the playoffs than us, they just figured protland was the easiest team to face, when in reality it was NO. Portland will be tough due to their deep team and having no pressure on them, so that can counter houston's limited experience and Nate Mcmillan is a smart guy and can definitely counter with his coaching.

Bottom line is this : if we were SUPPOSED to be the 2 seed (like many posters here have said), then let's freaking PLAY like we're the 2 seed, and go into Portland and win a game there.

 

can we cut back on some of these threads?? there's one thread for every specific little thing, how do you even discuss the playoffs that way without repeating yourself all over the place, then more threads are started because someone missed something because they didn't know what thread to check or didn't want to check them all....

 

I know its a HUGE HUGE HUGE if cuz they haven't figured it out, but the Blazers are in DEEP trouble if the Rockets figure something out when it comes to the fronting.

I actually like the blazers, 2nd favorite team. They have very respectable players, except pryzbilla. I didn't want to play them 1st round but we will win in 6 or 7 games. Scola is gonna play big and AB will do good too

 

We are going to lose this in the last minute. I'm calling it. But we'll snag game 2.
