ClutchFans Game Thread: Rockets @ Blazers 2/10/2016

the post game headline will read "blazers get blazed by hellfire of nuclear rockets from houston"
just try to contain their scrubs so that only one of them goes off this time, instead of 3 or 4 llike last time, and rockets will win this b****
and someone plz tell ty to wake the hell up already. all star break is just days away. LETS GOOOOOOOOOOOO CMON how much time do you need?

 

Rockets really need to blow this team out if people want to take them seriously as playoff contenders. I'm not talking about squeaking out a win, I'm talking about a full 48 minutes of good basketball, something the Rockets have not done yet this year.

 

I Love our Rockets. But let's be realistic here.
We're 2-5 in our last 7 games.
Our last win was a squeaked out win over the Suns (clap, clap)
But our next opponent (Blazers) destroyed us on our home court by 30

So here are our next 5 games
POR - in THEIR arena this time, on a B2B; Mark that down as an "L"
PHX - Away game; There's a 'maybe' Mark a W in pencil
UTA - Away game; Jazz are 8-2 in last 10 games; Gobert back; Likely "L"
POR - BACK to Portland; We haven't matched up well; Likely "L"
SA - No explanation necessary; Use perm marker for an "L"

THEN, our schedule finally gets a bit easier.
But we could very likely be 3-9 for a 12 game stretch.
Hopefully our Rockets will prove us wrong. But it doesn't bode well for
a playoff seed.

 

Yeah....I'm probably not staying up for this one.

I'll call it a win if we don't lose by 30pts again against the Blazers.

Dunno what's up, bu i can only see Rockets winning this one, infact, i even put some money on them, lol.

 

Lose the game, fire Morey over the break, Les has ulcer surgery, come back from break to lose ten in a row, Howard goes down, Harden gets back with Khloe, and Rockets miss playoffs.

 

Hopefully Josh will actually step on the court the 2nd half and we will stop calling Brewer a PF

 

At this point, that's a good thing. We need those draft picks. And we need to fall out of the playoff picture before the trade deadline so Les and Morey get it through their thick skulls that this team is going nowhere as currently constructed. Blow it up and rebuild.

 

Hopefully we will stop calling Brewer a Rocket you mean. Take his jersey after the game and throw it away.
