There should be no excuses why we shouldn't beat the trailblazers (lifted). Roy aka Rocket killer is not playing and our starters should be motivated to play their asses off after their most lame showing last game (thank u bench for the 65).

As Hayesfan articulated earlier: Stopping LA is key.

We also need to keep an eye out for Wesley Matthews who has been playing well of late and definitely not making Rich Cho look silly with the nice contract he got over the Summer.

    Houston Win :)

Have the Rockets ever won a big, meaningful game this season?

I expect a choke job; we lose in a blowout.

Unfortunately, it's still unlikely since they NEED to win this game and Patterson needs to play another game to see if he is the real deal or just a one time player.

Rockets win a tough game. They rout us early but we hold it together and pull through.

We don't have to deal with Roy, who has always killed us.

But then again, we don't have Chuck to play Lamarcus.

I think we can win this baby.

Portland is still a good team even without Roy, but this is still a game we need to and should win. This month is going to be rough so if we want to come out still above .500 and challenging for the 7/8th seeds this is the exact type of game we can't afford to lose.

LaMarcus might be their leading scorer, but I think Andre Miller is the one to watch. Miller could be the Houston killer aka DeRozan/Ellis/Wade...Instead of shooting he's gonna have a layup drill or just penetrate and dish out easy dunks/mid range jumpers.

Kyle has been very quiet the last 4 games, bad shooting percentages all over the table, not to talk about Brooks who has only had one good shooting night since coming back. Tonight is a good one to get their modjo back. Go Rockets!
