[Clutchfans Game thread] Preseason: Rockets v Grizzlies 10/10/2006

section 401, hmmm hoping to upgrade to lower bowl, or near the real rowdies....aka clutchfans rowdies from last year......i still remember how much louder we were than the rest of arena, sure wish they would have given discounts to atleast 50 of us clutchfans, and bunched us together with the van gundy rowdies....

 

Usually in the preseason (though not necessarily in the first game!), JVG has been known to give the guys unlikely to make the team a nice chunk of minutes to showcase themselves for other teams. Kind of as a thank-you for their hard work in camp. In other words, we'll probably see at least a little of every player with a Rockets jersey at some point in the next few games.

 

Wait so is CCTV going to be airing this?

I used to live in Austin, the FSSW channel is 54. Sometimes it plays Rox, sometimes Spurs, sometimes Mavs (boo)... You just gotta get lucky unless you have NBALP...

As I live in Houston now, I'll be at the game tonight... I have season tix in the "corporate bastards" section, and let me tell you, it's been REALLY tough the last couple years being a true Rox fan down there... the crazy-eyes got so penatrating that I have resulted in showing up to the games sauced so as to not care anymore... it works

 

is there ANY way to watch the game on a mac? I had to borrow a computer all season last year. I have a streamtv subscription but I don't think they are showing the game and that needs pc anyway. HELP ME

so i downloaded the tvkoo program and so which channel do i choose

its all written in chinese and im trying to look for Shanghai sports..

i see CCTV-5..are the rockets playing on that too?

 

I've only ever seen games on CCTV-5.

sure the heck will beat watching a 20 minute lack-luster scrimmage on monday

yeah i feel like maybe i have a weird language package where it's mixing chinese with korean...

i was just planning on turning on the one that has the highest number of users, since i'm guessing a lot of people will be tuning in the rockets games.. can anyone let us know once the game starts how many users the game as so i can join based on user number?
