Well, the Pelicans lost the game trying to force feed him because of our small ball.

    He should have dominated

    idk man , isnt howard listed at 6'7" / 6'8" ?

hes gonna need to have a 6'3" wingspan otherwise I'm vetoing him on the basis of being too tall

Gordon and Harden and Tucker would suck to post up against. Brick walls.

LOL but we did it though hahaha, like cmon. Mike stressed rebounding and guess what...WE DID IT haha. This is so hilarious. I want Hart to play too but it is funny watching you guys hone in on this.

When they got the ball to Zion in his spots, we had no answer. Good for us they are too dumb, and Zion's too out of shape, to do it consistently. He went 8-14 lol. It's not like we shut him down by any stretch.

I think only a dunce would look at Mike’s quotes and think, “well just throw in a Center!”.

For Mike, it is mandatory that 4 out of 5 players on the floor can shoot the three. This has always been the case. With Russ on the floor, you CAN NOT play a C, so you need to rebound with who you got. Make your box outs, do your job. If they reach over the top a few times, fine. What Mike is referring to is guys not hitting their box outs, and ball watching.

    I'm happy for any win...

Unfortunately though... any success we have with small ball is just gonna cement it as the way to go for MDA...

Meanwhile, when the playoffs roll around we'll be playing teams that know how to maximize their opponents weaknesses and will be seasoned enough not to get rattled by a quicker smaller pestering defense...

I think we're gonna piss away this year chasing MDA's stubborn obsession with small ball...

On the plus side though... it will finally drive his idiot self outta town once and for all when it all gets exposed in the playoffs...

    ...imo...

Did we win despite your criticisms? I can't see the score right now, I just want you to tell me.

How many turnovers came as a result of that entry pass?

How about post-ups league wide, including the entry pass?

It is not a good play over the long term for them, or anyone.

You go ahead and have your Zion post up on Tuck/Harden/Gordon, I’ll take the Harden ISO EVERY SINGLE TIME. Let’s see who wins.

Did we lose playing small ball? Because this reads like it's guaranteed failure to do so.

Our best team potential ever had

    Chris Paul
    James Harden
    Eric Gordon
    Trevor Ariza
    PJ Tucker

doing damn near ALL the work.

So you want other teams to play perfect games and us to still beat them? Is that the only thing that counts for ya?

This small ball is really helping our turnovers. And Ball Control is a huge success measure of the Rockets. If we put up more shots and FTAs, you basically can't beat us.

    Over last two years:
    • Rockets 15-3 when TOs < 10, while the Opponents have more TOs.
    • 3-0 this season
    • with 2 wins in a row dominating turnovers
