If you ever played basketball you'd understand what I was talking about. But clearly you haven't and that's why it confused you.

Defense is played with the feet not with the hands isn't meant to say you don't use your hands to play D, it means the effort comes from moving yourself into correct position versus making up for poor position by reaching in or just sticking a hand up limply. Of course your hands are involved

 

well when you clearly post a statement like this, you should probably recognize the misguided information.
