ClutchFans Game Thread: Pelicans @ Rockets 10/19/2015 (PRESEASON)

I hope Dwight will go up against Davis, if he is fit to play.

 

This will be a good game for all the bench to play. I'm actually on board with holding a few of the starters out a few games.

this is the game where the hornets and rockets started coveting each others players.

the hornets are wanting to become a deeper team and start looking at dekker, jones, dmo, and 2nd round pick. (3 picks from the first round and another 2nd rounder...crazy value)

and the rockets feel that davis would be a small but needed upgrade at PF.

I know what you people are saying. "the rockets finally have depth at most positions and you want to do this trade and have a rookie at back up PF" but it's the right move. there have been young players help the rockets win championships before mind you.

We keep hearing that Dwight would be playing if it were regular season, but you'd think he'd at least be participating in practice if that were the case.

I don't know. They only have 2 preseason games left. I'd like to see the starters play at least a few minutes together to develop some chemistry. In the 2nd half of these next 2 games, that's when the bench can be given all the minutes.

Scrub Dekker, Jones, DMo and 2nd round pick for Anthony freaking Davis? Pelicans and the rest of the NBA will laugh at that offer.

Even add Dwight and they still say no. AD is simply untradeable and not for that poo poo platter

Clint Capela can shut down Anthony Davis.

 

please keep me updated on wether or not Capela plays tonight. Will help me decide if I will watch.

This is not the off-season of a championship team, I'll tell you that much.

 

It's not the offseason of any team. This is the preseason.

 

I like to think we are just handling everybodys health better than before. And having people missing games is a natural consecuence of this.

I hope I`m right, because it has been very upsetting all of these injuries. I mean, Tjones can`t catch a break, everytime he plays well he injures in some crazy fashion. No wonder why he doen`t want to push it when healthy
