Is it really important to make the playoffs only to get swept in the first round? This team in the current state will not win a single game in the playoffs. I'd rather miss the playoffs and get a higher draft pick. Maybe another season of barely missing the playoffs will force the management to make some real changes (cough rebuild cough).

This is classic Rockets. If all you have to do is simply win against what is supposed to be inferior talent, we lose... This reminds me of 2008 when all we had to do is win the last game of the season and we have the inside track to the western conference finals and we lose to a team that wasn't playing hard and we play the lakers in the second round and lose.

    This is so ****ing awful.

Final score from Salt Lake City: Mavs - 121, Jazz - 123. Mavs are now in 7th place in the West.

Even if they play small we should NEVER play Pat and Scola together! I don't care.. PPat was just letting his guys shoot 3s in his face@!!!hlkawhdlkasd at least Dalembert will have a longer reach when the unload all over his chin...

Play Morris man he cant do that much worse than Pat...

That's like saying...is it important to play a single game at all because the HEAT or Bulls or Thunders are going to win the Championship anyway lol. It just a waste of time to play any game lol.

This is what I like to call the "loser's mentality."

I call the fan of any perennial losing team who supports that path a losers mentality. And since it keeps going on in that direction it actually supports my theory.

Why does the worst possible thing that could happen to the Rockets ALWAYS happen to the Rockets?

It was fun while it lasted.

But at least the Rockets keep their pick from the TW fiasco.

I say play as hard as they can and see where the chips fall.

But a 4 game losing streak and losing 4 at home when it's crutch time really does say... The Rockets are who they are.

And McHale got out coached in a must win. So at least you don't see 4 game sweep in playoffs.

There is always hope and it starts when the season ends :)

Would not shock me if the team we are now chasing for the 8th seed is the mavs. Could happen if we beat dallas on Wednesday.

It's not that far fetched that we still get in.

    it actually kind of is.

If we lose against Dallas and Miami two games we probably will lose.

Utah is only 1 game behind us plus they have the tiebreaker no matter what.

They have a cupcake schedule of portland twice, suns, and orlando without dwight.

It is very possible they win out, which means even if we went 4-1 they still get in over us.

    Not looking good.

Sorry, but this game was jobbed by the refs 100%. So many bull****t calls the last 5 minutes. They swung it the Nuggets way deliberately. Started with that 3 point foul that they called for the Nuggets.

Terrible? What's he doing wrong? He looked fine to me. He and Parsons (his defense) are the only consistent good things going for us right now.
