    Didn't we win the 16th in Dallas? Yup totally "random".

    I know LeBron's Heat got to 27, but that 22 game win streak has got to be one of the most special events in modern NBA history and was more impressive than LeBron's. At the beginning, it was basically Yao and a bunch of role players since TMac was in and out of the lineup. Then when Yao got hurt, it was T-Mac with a bunch of role players.

    We were playing Chuck Hayes, Steve Novak and Luther Freaking Head big minutes for Christ sakes.

    I am sorry, I didn't mean that at all. The Rockets winning streak was fantastic, and unexpected for all those reasons as you said above. I am a Rockets fan like you.

    I meant to say that all the Mavs wins have been "random", since they won a championship.

    The ads features Dwight and (of all people) DMo. DMo is raised higher up in the picture, and is more prominent...as if to suggest that here is the future, while the man to DMo's left represents the past.

    If Ariza really is out then you guys will truly see how much he impacts the team. Harden's defense will be tested having to guard the bigger, athletic wings tonight so I don't think he will have energy to carry a game on offense.


    Bev/Terry
    Johnson/Daniels
    Harden/???

    When Harden sits we have no one who can play the three. I would honestly rather have Ariza than Dwight (for 5 minute stretches). Playing Harden at the three is going to hurt us on both sides and there is literally no one who can play SF outside of him.

    Gallinari is 6-10 and Harden is 6-5. Is Daniels at "6-4" really going to defend him when Harden sits? Alonzo Gee will also sore a lot getting to the basket tonight. He is having a great season.

    The people who downplay how much Ariza does for this team just because he isn't Harden on offense are simply idiots.

    This is hyperbole. Nobody discredits Ariza's overall impact. He's well worth the 8 mil being spent on him.

    Having said that...he needs to get his shooting percentages up, and I don't think that's unreasonable to ask at all. Nobody's expecting him to be Harden on offense (obviously :roll eyes:), but he's been shooting sub-40% on a pretty consistent basis lately, and that needs to get brought up.

    I imagine once the team gets back from injury, that will happen, but it's definitely something that needs to happen sooner or later.
