    It's still an offensive foul, but the rules aren't just because of contact, the refs need to feel that the contact was significant enough to warrant a foul, and given the propensity to flop, some guy just falling over doesn't automatically fill that criteria.

    What probably made it worse, is that the refs would have looked at the tape during half time and seen the mavs flopping all over the place.

    Playing every other day(aside from Game 7) works out in the Rockets' favor if they face the Spurs given the age of that team.

    The Rockets only played one really good game this series. Game 1(aside from a brief period in the 2nd quarter when Dwight sat with foul trouble). Game 2 was an offensive struggle til the 4th quarter when the Josh/Dwight show took over. Game 3 was a brilliant offensive performance coupled with lousy defense(aside from the 3rd quarter). Game 4 was a suckfest over the last 3 quarters. And Game 5 was a great defensive effort, but horrible offensive execution with a huge number of turnovers and bricked free throws.

    The Rockets can play much better and they'll need to in order to advance.

    Even if he was healthy, does anybody really believe star players are lining up to join HIM, a glorified role player with a max contract? He was able to recruit for us because we have the Beard, not him.

    Agreed. Aside from the close proximity to his son, Dallas would be a worse situation than Portland for LMA. He'll get paid less and he'll have worse talent around him than he currently has. Barring the Mavs signing both him AND another big name free agent.

    Cuban needs to bite the bullet and blow that thing up. He's trying to reload around a 37 year-old player who's way past his prime. Dallas will struggle to even make the playoffs next year if OKC is healthy and the Pelicans continue to improve. And if Utah plays the entire season like they did after the All-Star Break, the Mavs don't have a prayer of reaching the postseason.

    Kawhi Leonard does not look like a foundation player. He just cannot carry the load on offense. No foundation player averages less than 17 PPG in his fourth season.

    Harden is so mature now. A big transformation from last year. It was his defense that led us to victory with the steal on Dirk's cross court pass.

    The best from him is yet to come.
