It's obvious it's the KK curse. Mr MVP of inconsistency.

Because talking in defence is first of all not something that everyone does in the league and is not something that happens naturally. It;s a HABIT.
It's not just deciding to talk and you talk. It requires trust and repeats.
That doesn't mean that the Rockets players are like little children, it's the same for all teams and for all players. Very few good vets just change teams or wherever they go they bring this good habit with them. It's a team habit.

All good defensive teams talk and all bad defensive teams dont' talk. Every year. It's nothing new.

With all due respect, not sure what Capela should have done there?
It isn't a pick and roll. Lawson just stands there while fatty Felton waltzes past him into the lane. Capela could have taken a step towards the hoop I suppose? But if he sprints to cover Lawson then Pachulia is wide open for a jumper. Seems Clint is as shocked as anyone else that Felton went past Lawson so easily!

Not saying Capela is a flawless defender or anything, but that play wasn't a good example of the case you are making (which might very well be true!!)

Lawson is already on the floor 100% of the time Harden is on the bench. It's already happening, it's just not working. Lawson isn't doing ****.

Stop with your misguided agenda. Everyone's calling for morey and McHale's head and the players deserver some of the criticism as well

I have the "pleasure" of rooting for two teams with two of the worst coaches on the planet Kevin McHale and Chip Kelly.,both of whom should be fired yesterday. I am actually shocked when either team wins a game.

No the players get the blame most of the time that's no agenda. Especially in the media.

If Rockets changed coach after 2013-2014 season surely they have better chance to win championship. But now I see another tragedy.

I never understand why you hire McHale as head coach when you have Harden and Howard...

Plus, I am surprised no one mentioned how sucks Lawson is.

So far Lawson is shooting 31.9%, 3-pt 28%.
I guess Rondo is much better than him on shooting now.

Since you're just picking teams to root for at random, why not pick two others instead?

All NBA coaches preach defense, proper rotations and rebounding. Its up to the players to make it happen on the court. So yes the players deserve criticism as well.

Yeah, this is what I don't get.

Even when Harden is on the bench and Lawson is in the game, Lawson dribbles down the court, passes the ball off immediately, and goes and stands in the corner and let's everyone else run the offense.

When he's on the floor, the offense should work through him. Just like the offense goes through Harden when Harden is on the floor. Get Lawson the ball in spots that allow him to facilitate.

How he is being used right now makes no sense at all.

It's infuriating. Guys like Corey Brewer and Jason Terry are running around trying to create offense while Lawson isn't doing jack ****.

I didnt' follow closely the Nuggets but this is what the Nuggets moderator in Realgm had to say:
Take it with a grain of salt because Nuggets fans aren't so happy with Lawson's behaviour.
