It just seems that if Yao shoots a good percentage in the 1st quarter, or the first several minutes of a game, he is usually gonna do great.

If he starts 1-4 or 1-5 from the field, he is gonna have a disastrous shooting night.

I believe that most of it is mental.

They will beat the Lakers, but lose to the Wizards after the break. In fact, I'm predicting that ten out of the next eleven games will be losses, most by more than 15 points.

Hughes will be out for the game ROX vs Wizard. I think ROX would win Wizard in the coming game.

I am not sure if it is mental problem. But your observation is right. I also have such an impression.

Kobe's back and I'm a realist Rox lose big and crawl into the break, Shaq will be up, WAY UP, for this one and Yao will be lucky to survive in one piece; my prediction is lots of bench time for Mr. Yao as JVG tries to protect his "superstar's" fragile ego. Anyone care to argue differently?

Shaq is known to be a lot worse on back to back games... and this is not only a back to back, but the last game of a 7 game road trip for LA. He'll be tired, if he comes out and dominates I'll be surprise seeing how Yao has given him some trouble recently. BTW, when did the rockets get a 'superstar'?

I hope the Houston crowd boos Kobe Bryant everytime he touches the ball...Adrian Griffin and Jim Jackson will neutralize him on D. Shaq doesn't look so dominant these days. It's time for Yao to show him the NEXT BIG THING and lay down the smack down.

Gary Payton...we've got him right where we want him...Houston has suffered enough by his hands...it's time to make him pay for all those times Seattle defeated us. Not mention I didn't appreciate him and Vern Maxwell talking garbage to him during Steve's first game against the Sonics in '99-00.
