ClutchFans Game Thread: Lakers @ Rockets 12/7/2016

Once again, we catch a team on a losing streak. They're going to be hungry not to rack up a 4th loss in a row. This is the 2nd time LA has strung 3 Ls together but never 4.

Opening night we were still figuring ourselves out. Give credit to LA though...this young LA team's athleticism is off the charts. 1st game of the season Loss against LA, their guards ate us up like BBQ chicken. That's not going to happen with Beverley playing this go round. I know Nene hasn't been playing too much, but I want to see heavy doses of Harrell to match LA's speed and athleticism. Also heavy doses of Sam Dekker.

We need to do more sophisticated screens to get Anderson better looks. If he isn't wiiiiiiiide open, with 4+ feet of space, then he pump fakes and it's all over from there. Our little pick n fade at the 3 line is way too predictable now. Defender knows just to stay relatively close to Ryan and he won't shoot it. He'll do the pump fake, and then the play is broken cause his drive game isn't there.

 

Will DMo play tonight?

We should probably try our best to win this game seeing as how OKC, Memphis, and Utah sems like they might never lose another game for some reason

10 bucks says that right ankle isn't 100%-- I'm sure he'll play more often more soon. Perfect english; nailed it.

 

Portland sucks but ya the other teams need to lose stat.

So my question is - if I purchased a ticket and paid the agreed upon price, but I really wanted a better seat, can I refuse to show up and thereby force the ticket office to give me a better seat?

Jeff Bagwell would put in 2 hours of heavy lifting after games. Beast.

 

I hope Anderson gets hot tonight. I want to see Decker take more shots, and get more involved offensively. I have no doubt Ariza and Beverly will bring the defense, but they too are capable of hitting more 3's. Let's do this! I missed the first game, so haven't seen this Lakers team yet.
