I could care less about our offense, it will work itself out, I want to see better defense.

Especially since JVG is announcing! :)

Game days just seem so long!

    Kobe and McGrady shootout tonight?

I know everyone is all caught up in last nights loss. And us hardcore rockets fans are all about the Ws. But wouldnt you like to see an old fashioned shot out between tmac and kobe with a close game on the line.

You guys remember the shootout he had against dirk a few seasons back, that was something to watch. hopefully tmac can shoot as well as he did yesterday and we can have these two superstars score 40 plus points.

My prediction is tmac 41, kobe 47 but we still win the game.

lets have us a wild west shootout!

Not really, I just want the Rockets to win. Bump all of that who's better who's selfish who's this and that.

Just play basketball and hopefully the W comes the Rockets way.

I would rather have TMac + Yao scoring than McGrady alone.

I don't care if McGrady scores 15 and Yao too,I want to see Rockets winning.
Let Kobe score 150 if he wants, but if he Lakers lose it's nothing.

If the game tonight becomes a shootout, then we lose. McGrady is more dangerous when he is a distributor and gets everyone involved. Why do you think teams try and make Nash more of a scorer than a passer? Last night was a great example of this. I would rather have everyone score double digits and our 2 stars drop their averages.

Only TOFs care about this stuff. Like the great Woody Harrelson said: TOFs would rather look good than win.

Exactly, after all we have two great scorers! Both can score over 40points if they want to! :p

being a back to back, and the way the guards played last night, this should be an opportunity for Stevie.

exactly. But our other guys have to start hitting their shot. After all, its not like we're not getting the open looks for our shooters.
But one thing I have noticed: we are not passing around the perimeter enough. That may be because of Yao's position near the perimeter on those occasions so we're not getting the open seperation between our perimeter players. In my opinion, whenever Tmac's out of the game and Yao's in, we need revert back to the JVG style of pound it/kick it out/ shoot/ pass to the next open shooter. Thats why I think Mike James is a double-edged sword. When he scores its okay; but when he is bad and still chucking shots, heneeds to utilize his drive and kick the ball out.

Rocket must win this game since Spurs routed them last night.

Hopefully the team avoids a hangover from last night. I seriously think their performance could carry over, seeing how sluggish and disappointing they played. At least the refs shouldn't be as a big a factor tonight.
