You guys make fair points and like i said i'm ok with moving him in the right trade, i just don't want to make an emotional move and trade him for another role player with less upside in another spot and without having a good replacement.

Kevin Love is not making this Rockets team a contender

I know Westbrook is having a good season, but I would have happily kept CP3 or gone for Jimmy Butler. Our team overall would have been better.

But I can see why they traded CP3. He had an history of history of injuries, and he had a big contract to fill. We traded him for him for a younger and healthier guy. The problem with having Westbrook here is.... having him and Harden out on the floor together makes the live of the other teams easier. Westbrook cannot shoot consistently at all. They can double team Harden knowing Westbrook isn't going to shoot those 3pt shots. If you protect Westbrook's lane, he starts going up with contested layups or forces it out to inconsistent shooters. With CP3, you would have to guard him.... simply because he could hit the 3pt shot.

At least the Rockets put up a better fight than Cowboy did tonight...

I’m certainly not saying to move Clint for a below-market deal. I’d have to get an elite 3&D wing like Robert Covington plus a solid rim-running center and rim protector like Holmes or Noel to make the trade.

Texans choke, Astros are in disarray, and Rockets can’t win in game.

This city is cursed in sports

We offered 4/5 first round picks for butler smh.

Then he chose Miami lifestyle over winning and trust me we have a better chance at the title then Miami does.

I have major problems with Love's fitness. Yeah, he suits our team more than Capela does. But I doubt he's the answer.

Unless the goal is to win every game 130-120, Kevin Love makes no sense as a Rocket. Whatever he gives you on offense, he gives right back on defense.

Like I said, we don’t have to move Clint, we just need new forwards. A new starting SF and a back up PF (both need to be long athletes)

Neither is sitting with Capela and Westbrook and House and Ben mac .. etc.
Something has to be done and I don't believe it is a coaching change. We need players that fit and right now we just don't have that. I would much rather see what we can get for Westbrook house and Ben mac than Clint in all honesty. In alot of matchups he usually does win. Where as westbrook... well.. he is just Westbrick for life.

Now... if we had kept CP3 and got Jimmy Butler, we would have been top of this conference. Especially with CP3 not being injured this season. We could have easily replaced House and got a more consistent shooter in. It would have been so much easier.

I like Westbrook, and he's having a good season. But we're a pretty predictable team when Harden and him are out on the floor together. Double team Harden and protect the lane so Westbrook has to shoot the ball. Now, if we had better supporting cast for those guys, we wouldn't lose. But we literally don't have the consistent 3pt shooters.

    It's a shame it's came to this.

Clint has been underperforming the past few years on the big stage imho.

Even when they do it’s not like the Rockets are consistently having blowout wins. That speaks to larger problems beyond the top 2 players. But yes, they share some of the blame as well. Nobody is innocent

Put CP3 on this team and this team is still not a contender.

Mike D'Antoni is still going to be passive aggressive because he doesnt have a new contract.

Still No Bzdelik so the defense will still be ass.

The forward rotation will still be the worst in the league.

The bench will still be one of the worst in the league.

tucker is not a 4 and we played him too much. He is 34. It’s having a toll on him. We need a stretch 4 that can board. We will be alright if we have one. If not, we are not going anywhere this year.
