This mountain of injuries are worrisome. What appeared to be a very special season could turnout to be disastrous for us. We were fine 1 through 7, the starting lineup plus Terry and Papas, and maybe D-Mo. The rest are D - League material.

The hope is that Morey works his magic again and bring us some needed help.

I am usually optimistic irt to the Rockets, but count me in as one concerned fan.

What concerns me is not only the number of injuries this early in the season(this is only the 14th game played tonight), but how hush hush the team is being about some of them. Dwight bangs his knee in the Philly game, but seems fine after that. Yet suddenly he's a late scratch against the Warriors because of flulike symptoms and then against the Lakers because of a sore knee. Then he's getting an injection in the knee? And McHale doesn't even wanna comment on his status after the loss to LA?

Then with T-Jones, the best estimate we can get(if you can even call it that) on his return is a month. But no one seems to know. I understand nerve injuries are tricky, but not even a timetable? And what the hell is up with Bev? Was he not ready to come back against OKC? Is he just injury prone and can't stay in the lineup? Remember, the same Rockets medical staff that ruled him out for the remainder of the season in late March wound up being contradicted a few days later by another doctor and Bev did in fact return not long after.

I remember reading an article earlier ( before the season ) that stated that the rockets management was very concerned with beverleys health as it regarded his knee. I think he might be a bit injury prone or he might just be still feeling the effects from that injury and the problems of compensation with other body parts.

Fun fact: This year, James Harden is ahead of Lebron James in true scoring percentage (ie, scoring rate), rebounding rate, assist rate, steal rate, and block rate and is beating him both offensively and defensively in simple rating, box score plus-minus, and win shares. source

This is more or less irrelevant to the game thread, but I thought it was cool considering Lebron's rep as among the most multifaceted players in history (and that Harden is doing this while shooting horribly).

Funny how we really could use the two people we lost after last season.

Bev needs to be shelved out for as long as it takes for him to be 100% healthy or near that target. Going in and out in between games does the team and himself no good.

They were reacting to Brandon Knight missing a layup that would have won the game in the 1st OT (the game went 3 OT).

If Canaan has a bad game, I partly blame our coaches for not giving him any solid minutes lately.
