TJ going to get lit up by Porzingawd. TJ has no Idea how to guard jump shooting big men. I don't want to even think about the putbacks; no one knows how to box out! If Grant goes off on the Rockets, pray for the GARM and Dekker.

Why do I torture myself?

 

Rockets could learn something from the Knicks. They went from last in defending the 3 last season to first this year. All done with no star signings in the off season but with guys hustling their butts off like Lance Thomas, Grant, Galloway and Williams. Fisher is playing 12-13 guys a game limiting minutes for every player so they can give 150% instead of 110% on both ends in those minutes. Its working because they're the most improved team in the league so far, a big deal when your big signing was Lopez who gives you 8pts and 6rbs a game.

Knicks have a young more athletic team and aside from Williams the new guys all have quick feet. There 3pt defense is legit rockets in trouble

 

this is key. I think more teams ought to be doing this, or at least try it out.

 

They gotta have one game where they are hot from 3

 

Lopez is very good at clogging the paint. A paint clogger allows the wings to chase the 3 point shooters safe in the knowledge that somebody has their back.
Porinzgis isn't a bad shotblocker either, so they can run their man off the 3 point line pretty well.

Having said that, bringing in Afflalo, Thomas, Grant has certainly helped as well!

After so many atrocious performances shooting the ball, I'm not sure this is true. Maybe they just aren't good at shooting the basketball.

 

Well, you called the Portland game so I hope you're right! Maybe if we don't shoot like a middle school B team we might have a chance. I have NEVER seen so many guys shooting this bad on one team.

 

Dwight may play. Things could be looking up.

I don't expect him to, but no reason Dwight shouldn't play. The team DESPERATELY needs a win. That's more important than an extra day of rest.

 

Its getting to the point that we need the starting unit to build on chemistry and Howard needs to man up ..

Lol srry but i have made many wrong predictions this season :grin:
The knicks are improved but they are beatable. Lets hope the refs start calling oquinns and lopez continuous fouls tho.
