if they bring back D-mo, harden will beat everyone on triple doubles.

Watched some of the game - so far so good. Was more impressed with the defense than anything else.

Just making open shots is really going to improve our defense.

This explains the Knicks' terrible defense a bit. The Rockets are going to take a lot of teams by surprise this season because of the new system. I'm hoping that the coaching staff can adjust their offensive schemes when teams start to adapt to the Rockets.

I would bet that Onuaku gets cut, Payton goes to the vipers. Surely they would want Ennus over Prigs so they possibly waive prigs.

From an inside source from my good Friend Christian who is staying with Kyle at the 4 Seasons hotel downtown. Rockets will keep him for good.

Alright, I'm convinced: we can be great offensively and I mean crazy good. Harden looks in great shape and the game comes so easy to him, he's so skilled and his passing was on point again. Not even forced, just great passing. Again our 3 new additions looked great: Ryan, Nene & Gordon. Some of the fouls Gordon got were just silly. I loved how he used his body when going to the basket, he can definitely create and his defense looked solid. Without Beverley we are ****ed though against top tier PGs. Also a breath of fresh air to see Ryan boxing out. He does seem to make up his mind about making a certain move, which makes him go out of control sometimes.

Capela has not impressed me thus far, but let's hope he can do damage against the back ups. Nene should start in my opinion, he's just great at passing, setting screens and those strong hands to catch passes is great. Ariza looked solid, Brewer too but for the latter we have to remind ourselves it's pre-season. KJ had some nice moments. With regards to the rest of the roster: Wiltjer is a solid player, not just a 3pt specialist like Novak. He's a keeper! Also GPll needs to make the team, especially with Beverley's injury and he looks better than Ennis. Last thing, I'm very disappointed in Harrell. Cut this guy already. If Wiltjer is cut over this guy, Morey and Leslie are not committed!! Dekker I'm not sold on at all.

I am very pleased with how serious MDA and our guys are taking pre-season. Especially because McHale and some of our players, Harden, went into last season with a loser mentality.

I agree. We know Anderson is going to miss a few games in the season and that stretch four's long bombs is going to do lots of damage. Wiljer is the perfect backup for this role. Other than these two guys we have no other bigs who can shoot.

I don't think Trez can play center going forward, not even under MDA, he's just not a good enough rebounder and defender in the paint, he needs to develop a decent outside shot to stand a chance (of playing at the 4) imo.

I just watch the Rockets v Knicks espn highlights and not one highlight for the Rockets; it was a D Rose KP highlight.

The hate for the Rockets is pure comedy.

To be fair, both Griffin and Paul were -29. So the team actually did "better" when they were off the court.
