    James Harden - 12/26 38 points

    Rudy Gay - 9/19 25 points

you think both shot the ball too many times?

The only thing that stood between their entire perimeter scoring 90 points was Dwight, the help was out of sync, Sacramento was running Thornton off screens for 10 minutes before Mchale thought about switching Harden.

"It's just so frustrating. It's not like we don't like each other, but we play selfish sometimes, or it probably looks that way from the outside. ... We just have to play more unselfish, offensively and defensively."
    -- Rockets forward Chandler Parsons
Who was/were playing selfish in this game offensively and defensively?

This lost has nothing to do with offense. WE DONT PLAY D! I hope people are starting to see the value of Pbev on the defensive end and rebounding!!

Pretty sure we lost the first Sac game with Bev playing and Lin on the bench too.

This was hard to watch. When Harden hit that turnaround free throw line jumper in the last minute I groaned. My son asked why, and I said that now he won't pass the ball again for the rest of the game, and he'll throw up BS shots with people guarding him.

Harden was trying to go for 40.. late in 4th quarter it was all about his stats

that's a given. Brooks will get pick on at that end of the floor. It's like getting mad at Dwight for not shooting 75% from the ft line a game, he just isn't capable.

I just remember when Harden got his own rebound and Dwight was open and wildly waving his arms, Harden ignores him and later misses a three I believe. Not the first time something like this has happened, where his open teammates are pleading for the ball and he says no.

I love Pbev but Pbev wouldn't have made a difference tonight.

McHale can’t coach; we need a new one now!!! Before it’s too late, the city of Houston wants a championship this year. We need a coach that can identify each player weakness and help them become better players, be able to call games, match up player, know when to take out players to give them rest and don’t play them the 48 mins., have strategies to win games, use big man to our advantage, USE D-MOE and close out 4th quarters, defense turn into offense and win games. Identify why there are so many turnovers in a game and fix it; we need to stop getting new players each year. These guy have to build a rhythm with each other over time, it’s just common sense. No one person can win a game it takes a team effort, if you notice the game won, everyone had double figures, was sharing the ball and on fire. When guys only look at their own accomplishments and not the teams, it never works. An old saying “a house dived will not stand” You stand stronger together as a team and ensure you fellow member get their numbers too. Houston has super stars and very talented guys on the team, but a coach that don’t know how to use them. Les wake up!!!! We love our team. Go Rockets.

I don't think PG defense was much a problem, will Bev guard Harden's man for him too?

Apparently NBA the reporter knows ;):

"BAD MOVE: For all the offense Harden provided, his lackadaisical approach on defense hampered his team severely again Tuesday. Harden took several questionable risks and was caught ball-watching too often, allowing his man to sneak behind him for easy baskets on back-door cuts."

Calling Harden out on his crap defensive effort isn't contained to Houston boards. Unfortunately it's so bad that the league knows about it.

Bev is a better defender then Brooks. There is no way Jimmer should be beating Brooks off the dribble without needing a pick. And to have that happen twice is just plain embarrassing.

Lin has played as well as Beverley if not better on D guarding the PGs.

To be fair to Brooks, Jimmer took advantage of our poor paint defense when Dwight wasn't there.

The look on Harden's face when the realization hit him that his hero ball just blatantly lost his team the game, priceless.
