Oh, and the supposedly “much more aggressive” Donovan Mitchell was once again defended very well by Gordon, Harden, Tucker, and Donovan Mitchell.

I don’t know how we’re going to defend the Jazz, but it sure seems like they can’t defend us!

They’ll be trying their hardest at home. I hope we smash them and completely destroy their playoff hopes and dreams.

The Jazz are actually a better team than last year—but it looks like the Rockets are firing on all cylinders!!

Jazz will be a different team at home. Got to win one at their place.

Jazz looked demoralized in the fourth. Never felt they really were at threat of mounting a comeback at any point really, and at best were just trading baskets with us. I'm guessing they give us their best shot in the first half of game 3. If we weather the storm and take the next game, it'll probably be a sweep.

Is MDA still coaching this team? 10 players with 10+min.

We really look to be clicking.

When those threes are falling, we are tough to beat.

The Jazz have a good team. Rockets are simply a horrible match for them. Besides, Rockets have elevated their defense intensity from the end of the regular season, which was already 2nd best since the ASB. Only complaint here is Manimal, whom I love, messing some of the switches leading to easy buckets for the Jazz. Must fix this.

There's not much to talk about the houston game, cause we smash the Jazz so hard, not much to say except Harden is too good.

Mitchell had a mean drive game last year. They got worse somehow.

I almsot took a xanax, but I'll save that for when I have to watch our boys play in the worst environment in the NBA.

I was SUPER impressed with PJ's shooting and defense.
Manimal should get some extra time and I'd even consider playing him with Clint in certain situations. He'd take Favors and Clint would bother Rudy.

Gerald Green didn't have a good game, but that's a plus in some ways. I see him going on 3 point shooting binge in the Mama Pill-Popper state.

Eric Gordon has been remarkably consistent.

CP3 played a smart game until he got bored and threw bad passes.

Game ball goes to James. It wasn't his points that impressed me. It was his decision making, patience and passes to the wide open spots. He gave PJ some great confidence going forward and he always rewards his bigs like Clint and Manimal for running and being open in the post.

I really respected James for speaking with I.Hart after the game and giving him some advice. That's leadership.

Honorable mention for gameball: Coach MDA. He let his players show him what they noticed on the court and allowed them to plan their next strike. Other coaches don't allow players to be involved in the huddle like that. You can see how well guys respond to him and how he adds an element to their suggestions that makes us fire on all cylinders. When he was talking to AUstin, he basically just told him to keep playing and shoot the damn ball. Austin drained 2 threes (We need him to shoot more)

Great win. Get one in Utah and finish this disgruntled bunch.

False. Might want to check your fake take when he had his entire roster vs minny and Utah.

That's two really good games in a row for Gordo. The guy's helping us get off to a quick start by not only hitting his 3's, but also, as you point out, by playing good defense. The coach of the j*zz said that he'd average 20 a game if he played on another team. The poor guy would kill to have him. Too bad!

Starting 3 guards, along with Tuck and Clint, has worked beautifully against Utah. MDA knows his ABC's!
