Very interesting. Drilling down a little deeper on the Scola/Milsap matchup numbers, let's take a look at last year and this year (the last 4 games they've faced eachother): Milsap is averaging 26 points in those matchups to Scola's 17. The Rockets are gonna have to find some way to limit Milsap. I think it's pretty clear that Scola is not gonna get that done. This is where Chuck Hayes would be a real help. We just don't have any big with the quickness and physicality to match up with Milsap. Let's hope PP can bring it defensively tonight!
This is a HUGE game. we have to come out with the win tonight somehow. Jazz are going to play even harder since their playoff hopes are on the line. If phoenix beat Memphis too, then we are only 1/2 game behind them for 5th place.

No advantage for the Rockets there. All those players have been either out for most of the season anyway or were hurting the Jazz by being on the court. Alec Burks starting in place of Miles will make them better.
Yeah, that frontcourt is still there, and that's annoying. Hopefully Camby and Dalembart can negate their guys up front.
however you wanna look at it, this is a huge game for the rockets. we are at home and have tougher games coming up. in terms of maximizing our playoff position, this is a must win.
I give the Rockets 70% chance of winning this game, 1 key reason is they are on a ROLL and as important, they are jelling, no jealousy. They play bad and still win, I would give them a better chance of winning if not for the Jazz's predicament. They need this game, more than the Rockets do, so I lower the chance of winning. I can't wait to watch the j*zz go kaput after this game.
I hope we crush them. I won't be satisfied with a nail-biting win, a 20 point blowout is what I want. A loss would just ruin my day.
rockets win the next 2 games and i think its like a near lock they make the playoffs start tonight with the jazz!
I disagree. Since we won 4 games in a row with two handful of games left, we are solidifying our playoff chances. If we finish in 8th we might actually have a better chance of advancing not one but two rounds of playoffs.
Milsap and Jefferson are the ones to worry about. Just need to contain them and it should be an easy win.
Goran Dragic is gonna score 30+ tonight. Have a feeling Millsap will go off, but we'll pull out a close one behind the Dragon.
