Just getting home from the game, I cant tell what ref , was the Hornets bench side Baseline....but he totally ruined the game....was horrible and once Dwight pointed at him and called him out, Dwight got 2-3 straight fouls called on him.....was totally unprofessional and personal

Probably not but he wasn't the only reason why the locker room was in shambles either.

Big time disappointment for sure though.

Jones really came through for us tonight. Hopefully it's the turning point for him

Ever heard of addition by subtraction? This hornets team have thrived without lane logger's Al Jeff and MKG. New identity, pace and space, they have been both watchable and quite good.

Kaminsky and Hawes (god help us) were the guys who got them back in the game by spreading the floor, williams benefits a lot as well. Similar to when Dwight was gone for us, it just seems to work

Lol, I'm not dude. That's why I posed the statement as a question because I am genuinely surprised at the difference in this team minus Lawson.

We clearly have had two of our best 4 or 5 defense efforts in the last two games. Lawson hasn't played much at all the last few weeks so obviously it can't be just him. But we look different last couple of games, that's for sure.

If we had had even a semblance of our normal shooting, we'd have 20 win in the 29 games I think, but there is not "if"

no, I agree with that also, we played better defense than we have in a while. But Charlotte shot like ****, which didn't hurt things either.

Man, the fouls Brewer, Howard and Beverly made was absolutely boneheaded. Brewer and Howard have really low basketball IQs considering they are vets. Thornton should get Brewer's minutes long time ago!

Good defense tends to force tough contested shots. The Rockets played a big part in the Hornets shooting badly tonight.

And the IF game never wins. Makes no sense to even bring that up seriously.

They might be more fun to watch, but their record is worse.

    5-5 without
    10-7 with

Not a huge sample size, but considering the Rockets have earned NO credit THIS season.... NOT A GOOD WIN.

But again, glad to get the win

Bickerstaff quotes are so refreshing, for that alone I like him 10 times as a coach over McHale. That being said, at what point does he say enough to Brewer?? I love Brewer as a person, like I did McHale, very likeable fun guys but this has to stop. The guy is a liability on defense, is a horrible shooter, committing dumb fouls and not doing much of anything. Give Thornton his minutes already!

Was at the game. Ugly win but glad we got it! We played a good offense minus the few Charlotte runs where we were super sloppy, but besides that we moved the ball well, and just missed a lot of open shots. We actually played solid defense, but Charlotte did have a lot of open looks they just clanked. The truly bad defense was only played when Brewer was on the court. I am so tired of him, he tries to jump every pass when there is no way of him getting to the ball which leads to him, or someone else losing their man cause they have to rotate to his man. It is literally every possession. The guy has the worst basketball IQ I have seen in a long time.

First, Les Alexander has not forgiven Lin for the Portland series. Second, didn't Lin start this game with 3 quick fouls and no other stats? (Hint: Yes he did) Lin may be playing well this year, but he isn't playing well in Houston. That's for sure. I was pretty high on him until this game. Looks like the same old Jeremy Lin, but he's playing with players that seem to hide his defensive weaknesses. It's a really solid set of defenders in Charlotte. They pressure very well. Lin too.
