Head is so nervous on his NBA debut. He killed a dribble when he had nobody to pass the ball to.

    Keep Yao going!

I mean is it just me but Clyde was talking about Boki as a journey man who went from the Rockets to a number of teams and now settled with the Hornets...does he not follow the team at all?

a lot of the offense is being worked through yao and stro. when they don't have it they kick it out and the guard can shoot. hard to get an assist if you are a guard that way.

Yeah, I noticed that exact same thing, too, when he said it. I was like, "What the hell are you talking about? The Rockets traded him right to NO and that's it." And, when he does give "analysis" a lot of the time it's practically the same thing Bill has just said, so whatever....

And, Jon Barry - man he's so smart, such a great bench player.

All things considered, not a bad 2nd quarter.

    good news!

we played no defense and sloppy offense, while they shot 50+% from the field.

    AND IT'S TIED!

Barry is the Man. Drawing a shooting foul from 45 ft out.

That's what going 20-23 from the free throw line in the 1st half will do for ya. Imagine if they start playing defense and running the offense through Yao in the 2nd half.

Sadly JB is still the 2nd best man to pass inside to yao. The new comers need to improve in this aspect.

Yao still has a bit of problems to deal with quick teams, but he has improved. HIs teammates need to pass him assertively and on the first occassion.

if we make it a point to get to the line (and shoot well), play defense, and consistantly get the ball to yao until tmac gets back we will do better than expected.
