The way you're posting in here it would seem like we haven't just beaten three 60%+ win teams in a row.

10th in defensive efficiency during this stretch too despite facing the best offensive team of all time.

He’s number 1 in scoring though. Top 10 in steals. Also top 5 assist. Leads the league in free throws. And so on...

What does that have to do with his finishing ability at the rim? Harden is good at many things and that makes him a great offensive player, but he's not the best finisher. I already said he's still a good finisher, just not the best. Provide one stat that proves Harden is the best at the rim. There isn't any. LeBron is way better even at his current age. Many people will also pick Kyrie and Steph to be better.

Gotta remember that green really isn’t in true game shape and I think mda might use this time to get him up to speed....

You can tell he was starting to lose his legs there toward some the end.....

    Stats are misleading imo.

Kind of like how he's the worst garbage time player in the league. Not because he's bad all of a sudden but he just takes liberties he wouldn't otherwise.

So he goes to the rim a lot and sometimes it's ill advised but they gotta respect it and it opens up the three point shooters or lobs to Capela. Execution is not always best but he goes up contested all the time. Usually I"m like how the eff did he make that?

LOL he is already an offensive GOAT and one of the primary reasons is his drives & effectivity of his drives

try watching seasons of games instead of just individual games and highlights before making obviously wrong assumptions

    just this year alone,

"unathletic" & "skillless" Harden drives almost 18 times a game (only behind WB and Schoreder) producing a league-high 11.2 points off drives per game and fouled 2.2 times off drives per game, 2nd best 2.2 assists off drives per game

while kyrie with 12 drives & 8 pts off drives per game
lebron with 8 drives & 8 pts off drives per game
Steph with 7 drives & only 4 pts off drives per game
KD with only 6 drives & 5 pts off drives per game

and since when did the euro-step and driving thru the small seams of the defense in the crowded paint become bully-ball, straight-line, unathletic, non-finesse, and unskilled?

Harden has never been a ferocious dunker. The dude plays a lot of mins, he takes a lot of contact. Hints all the foul shots. Do you think he is really ever 100%? Defenders like to body Harden up. He hits the floor a lot. I don’t mind him getting blocked at the rim. It means he’s attacking.

Feels good when some people on here write the team off during the game and come the fourth quarter, Harden and Paul take us to the win

Where's the part that Harden has lower FG%, gets blocked and turns the ball over more at the rim than LeBron, Kyrie, and Steph? I'm talking about his finishing ability at the rim, not his ability to drive to the rim. Those two are different things.

I couldn't believe the egregious travel by Whiteside on that O rebound by Miami at the beginning of this clip.
Check out the vid. He grabs the ball well behind the backboard and then shuffles backward
and then even hops backward too to put the ball back up. How do refs miss this stuff? I saw this real time and was livid.
You can shuffle backwards without even dribbling to put the ball up? SMH . . . .

And the Rockets WON’T play this type of “don’t give a” D against the Warriors.

Rockets clearly play different tier teams differently. Human nature sets in more often than not and they “relax” against non-contenders. Could this bite them at some point? Absolutely!

But this is a long season and it happens to the best of them. I actually would not have been surprised had the Rockets lost this game the way it was going. I’m glad they won but don’t expect these bad habits of playing down to competition to stop anytime soon. Old habits die hard.

The Rockets clearly gave a hoot from the getgo Saturday night because they knew who they were playing. Similarly they played the way they did tonight because...well....they knew who they were playing.
