Glad it’s over. Now he needs to curtail the three ball a bit and use the floater more. Don’t listen to Morey James, because two points still goes on the scoreboard and your floater is a deadly weapon.
Btw someone noted CP3 had like 2-3 possessions where he did not defer to harden. It's OBVIOUS the game was still on the line and it would have been better to find the open player rather than go for the contested 3. Stop sucking on his balls so much, as a rocket fan I'm going to give props and criticism the way i see it. Harden is the man, but I'm just glad the streak is over
Jimmy scored 11 of the Rockets 24 Fourth quarter points....despite determined double teams by Atlanta to stop the streak.
He looked a lot better in the fourth because he looked to attack the paint.He still had a few step back threes but overall he attacked more and was proactive
Obviously, but he plays the majority of the opponents "bench minutes". He runs the offense the end of 1 and 3 and beginning of 2 and 4, where all the stars rest and most high end starters. He looks great and I'm glad, but people always use this as a way to discredit Harden and its obscene
Plus people are changing their defensive identities to stop Harden.. The teams are creating new defensive schemes to solely stop Harden. Outside of a Prime MJ that hasn’t happened before. With Shaq it was just brute force no scheme was stoping him
I wish people would get this right... Morey doesn't have anything against 2-pt shots like the floater. He strongly dislikes the long midrange shot because: Most players just plain suck at it and are almost guaranteed to miss Most players shoot just as well if they take 2 steps back for a 3 A floater is not a long midrange shot. It is a shot you take when you are too far from the rim to use a layup, but too close to effectively use a jumper.
Didn't see the game..but damn 0-10 from three? Harden needs to rest some games and get his crap together if he can't even shoot a respectable percentage. He's not helping anyone ....and taking 17 FTs just wears him out even more for when the playoffs roll around. Yeah, regular season wins are nice, but you have to be ready to play hard every game when the playoffs come...
His neck injury was affecting his shot. Harden is an old school baller though; if he can move somewhat properly, he will play.
