Was definitely thinking that as well, **** just look at the Cleveland game and LBJ hand checking, bodying him all game long. Yes Harden got quite a few calls but they were getting away with murder on him most of the game.

Only 5 times in NBA history has a team not shot 5 FTs in two games in the same season. The Rockets this season are now on that list.

    11/16/1995 Milwaukee vs. Houston - 5 fta 2/27/1996 Milwaukee vs. Charlotte - 5 fta
    11/09/2002 Miami vs. Seattle - 4 fta 4/02/2003 Miami vs. Boston - 5 fta
11/13/2004 New Orleans vs. Milwaukee - 3 fta 11/17/2004 New Orleans vs. Phoenix - 2 fta
    12/17/2005 Phoenix vs. Memphis - 4 fta 4/07/2006 Phoenix vs. Lakers - 5 fta
1/5/15 Houston vs. Chicago - 5 fta (30 for Chicago) 3/4/15 Houston vs. Memphis - 5 fta (17 for Memphis)

So you're saying the NBA hates the Rockets now as much as they hated the '05 Suns, '04 Hornets, '02 Heat, AND '95 Bucks! Sheesh! What have we done to deserve this!?!?!?!

Kidding -- I know they hate us the most!

Pretty interesting that its been ten years since a team has had only five fouls called twice. Ten years of numerous rule changes... and significant changes in the way the game is played.

I didn't even realize that Jones actually matched Gasol's scoring (outscored ZBo) and even outrebounded both ZBo and Gasol.

    BEAST!

If TJ hacked Gasol on the arm on that game winning shot would they have called it? Isiah Thomas on NBATV last night didn't think they would have called a hack; would have gone to OT.

You just knew they would squeeze a "incorrect call" in there that would go against MEM, just to cover their a$$e$...

Q4 00:31.9 Turnover: 24 Second Violation Marc Gasol INC*
Gasol (MEM) does not release his shot before the 24-Second clock expires. Houston gains possession on the rebound.

This loss was a blessing in disguise.

    1. I want no part of OKC in the 2v7 playoff matchup
    2. The no-call on Harden at the end that allowed McHale to rip the refs was much needed for when the playoffs roll around and there's a late-game situation

I feel stronger about our playoff chances today than I did yesterday, and really that's all that matters.

That 2 games of 5 FTs or less stat is really amazing consider our style of play and it's another piece of info we can shove in the league's face. That's also going to help us come playoff time.

Memphis is no joke with those big boys down low and Conley running the show. Gasol is the best Center in the game (sorry Dwight, maybe if you're healthy) and Zbo is just a grown man down low. But I don't fear them at all. Outside of Dallas, they're the team I want to play the most in the WC playoffs. We could outscore that team by 100 pts from behind the arc in a 7 game series. That's no exaggeration.

2 straight Ls against Atlanta and Memphis, but I feel good about the way we played in both games. We are deep, we are versatile in the frontcourt (shoutout to the new and improved TJones), we have an elite creator in Harden who doubles as the best shotmaker in the sport, we have veterans with rings, we have bulldogs who don't back down. We are truly a Championship contender and our last 2 games, despite being Ls, helped cement that in my mind.

Can we protest the game and replay the last 5 +/- seconds, starting with Harden shooting 2 FTs?

So in the final minute of the game they had 3 incorrect no calls in the Grizzlies favor and 0 in the Rockets favor.

Gasol gets a free shot even though shot clock expired.
Jones gets hammered quite obviously but luckily recovers to convert the basket.
Harden gets raked across the arms taking away our chance at the lead in the final 5 seconds.

Transparency is nice now how about some accountability NBA.

Why did we only get 5 freethrows?
Why were the Grizzlies getting calls in the final 2 minutes(actually entire game) but the Rockets weren't?
