Yep. Has all the makings of a nice blowout. The point spread has been going up like crazy since this morning. Gamblers are betting the Rockets to cover tonight pretty heavily.

At this point you just have to take the cautious route and hope he starts getting healthy and is in a good enough rhythm going into the Playoffs.

But realistically, we prolly dont need Gordon to be 100 percent for round 1. If hes the make or break factor for that series then other things prolly went wrong.

Where we absolutely need to be firing on all cylinders in starting round 2 or 3.

In this wide open system , we need secondary guys like rivers and gordon ( WB is primary) to be able to take advantage of openings created by the space and either get buckets for themselves or kick it out to others. Drive and kick or drive and finish. Thats what you do with the space. Harden and WB will carry a load, but at a certain point , defenses will probably see if the rockets "others" can beat them.

I think the rockets need EG in the playoffs no matter what round it is. The playoffs are a different animal (see guys like House last year) and EG's a proven playoff performer/been through some wars.

Since @Clutch replaced the I with an O on the Knicks (KNOCKS) thread you would have to do same for the Rockets errr The Rickets vs Grozzlies. :D

If the Rockets come correct, this will be a blowout win from start to finish. We'll see, Rockets have loved to lose these sort of games all season.

I agree we really want him. But I think we can get by in Rd. 1 if he's like 70 percent , or misses some games . However, i think hes gonna need to be in rhythm for us to get past tougher teams , so like not missing games and being able to play hard without thinking about getting hurt for a decent chunk of( lets call it 30 ) minutes.
