    This inconsistency will kill us down the stretch, we better not finish 9th again !! Weak ass defense, they are not even hustling like last night. How can you play without effort in one game and work hard in the next, it doesn't make sense to me :S

    Heh, he had those in the first 3 or 4 minutes of the game. Too late to be calling him out for those, he's been pretty terrific since.

    Gay is a good roleplayer just like Battier was for us. He's no all-star. He's just an offensive stats minded roleplayer instead of a defensive glue guy. Get over it.

    Battier is overrated too..His lack of offense costed us at least 5 losses last season..

    For? The only thing I can come up with is that he helped at the free throw line and gave up an "and 1" to Gay in the late 2nd... Obviously position defense, hockey assists, spacing the floor, setting good screens, facilitating ball movement, and good defensive rotations mean nothing to you. Thankfully, they mean something to McHale. The kid plays an intelligent game, much more than can be said of Bud's game...
