    Martin is 29
    Rudy 25

    Guess who will decline first?

Would you rather have Martin or Gay?

Really depends on the team. As a first option, Gay easily without even having to think. As a second or third option, I'd probably go Martin just because of his ability to score points on less shots.

If they were on the same contract I would rather have Gay for this exact reason. But they're not... Gay's contract is way more expensive. I would not want him if I have to pay him like a superstar.

Obviously efficiency has always been Martin's strength, but I just don't like the way he plays. And he hasn't been as efficient now that the rules allow for more contact.

    First option - Durant
    Second - Gay
    Third - Ray Allen
    Third and fourth
    Martin

I did not think of contract. You are right. Still there are holes in Martin's game that makes him expendable for even Morey, one of his believers.

I definitely think Martin is expendable for the right trade. He's still a good player though.

    You are right.
With part of his offensive arsenal taken away, he is not a very good scorer without a doubt

He is merely a good scorer with nothing else.
Mediocre overall player in my books.

It's amazing how much more civil these threads are after a win as a opposed to a loss.

Chuck on TNT said he was disappointed that Lowry didn't make the All Star game.

    That's really cool. Respect.

It seems like Chuck has done a lot of hating on the Rockets the past few years though...

Rudy Gay has a max contract.

    That's the problem.

Would love him on the Rockets for the min.

Rudy seems to have declined peaked already, so he has declined first.

Rudy Gay actually is declining statistically.

His TS% is the lowest since his rookie year, his AST ratio has declined after a bump last year and his turnover ratio is the highest ever.

Now that he has signed his fat contract, he is in the process of mailing it in, as they say.

G.Smith had the best stat, 0 everything except 5 personal fouls. Are you ready Dwight Howard (FT stud)?

This is because Barkley believes Les owes him money, so don't expect him to fully change his tune about the Rockets.
