Really was just an abysmal game.

Yao's touch was extremely off. So many hard misses, clanking the back of the rim and just jetting out. Milicic and Swift were giving him fits, too.

Aside from Mike James' three 1st quarter three pointers, and one nice curl play in the third, he looked horrible. Too many shots without even attempting a pass, horrible defense (against both Lowry and Conley), and he was Rafer-esque near the basket. Must have been showcasing Rafer for a trade.

Mac looked disinterested, but per norm, he played well when he had the ball. Good passes, and the shot was adequate. Only thing I'm really disappointed in was that he didn't really step up when Rudy Gay (who looked great) was seemingly challenging him. More touches for Mac still would have been nice, though.

Second unit looked okay, despite losing it. Stevie is definitely someone that needs the ball -- was fun to watch, but I don't see it working with the rotation players. Novak looked decent, but still was completely showed up by Jacobsen. Landry looked great aside from one rookie foul against Lowry on an eventual three point play in OT -- was still very impressed by him. First his shooting, but he has a hell of a quick move for a PF too.

Overall... not a game I would put stock into. I prefer Rafer to James for this team, but I don't think this is the game that you use as the basis of that decision. Put it in the past...
