I think postbadlee did mention something about us being contenders this season. But It's whatever at this point.

I wonder if the Knicks were considered contenders all season long in '99

I'm not positive, but if I remember correctly they did bring Sprewell in sometime during that season after he hadn't played in a while and he really boosted them for the stretch run and into the playoffs.

Blowout not in the rockets favor. Clippers will embarrass Rockets... might as well play Morris.

Going to this game... first of the season for me. Definitely going to a playoff game if they make it, but no more regular season games until after the trade deadline which can't ****ing come soon enough.

Maybe its just me but I think we'll see the Rox play to their full potential and manhandle the Clips either in a close grind it out win or a blowout.

Durvasa said this team was more or less middle of the pack, but to me nothing could be further from the truth as the team is not average at all. This team fluctuates between Denver-level to Cleveland Cavalier level, depending on when the floppy duo (Scola/Kmart) and the Space Cadet brigade (Dalembert, J. Hill, C. Bud) decide to show up. Out of the whole rotation Parsons and Lee have been the only ones who show up consistently everyone else plays like a different player almost every game, with the greatest variation coming from Kmart (from trash to all star caliber).

We've been playing horribly the last 2 games, I think the schizo-switch will happen this game and we'll see a dominating Rox team.

Fool? Let's just see where the Rockets are at by the end of this season. I love the Rockets, but not blindly. We are a good team, but no where near Dallas, SA, OKC, Lakers and Clippers. There's absolutely no guarantee we'll be in the playoffs this year.

grab the m' f'n ball, m'fers and f'n hold on to it. sorry, was watching a samuel l jaxxon movie. If they can fix the rebounding woes of the past 8 games, they'll win.

Whoever wins the battle on the boards wins this game. The rockets need to get their head out of their asses and start rebounding the damn ball.

I predict: we get a lot of calls that don't go our way. Wait, that isn't a prediction... it happens every game

Lol yea. We need this win in a bad way, but it will take an all out effort to do it. Hopefully Dalembert really means he was embarrassed about that last game and not just saying it for the papers. The first few games he was here, he was a beast. Now he seems just content with being mediocre. McHale needs to get some fire in their ass!

I've been wrong nearly every time in my predictions. That being said, I predict a blowout loss tonight. The Clips are just too big and athletic for the Rockets. Clips 108-Rox 94
