ClutchFans Game Thread: Clippers @ Rockets 12/22/2017

Bad calls no doubt, nba needs to seriously begin penalizing refs for such blatant incompetence. But let’s be real, at the end of the day the Rockets shouldn’t have gotten themselves in that situation where a few bad calls decided the game to such an inferior team.

if you're paid 20M you need to affect the game

either RA steps up or get shipped out (Morey cleans his mess up)

 

Scrub add bench players need to step the **** up

 

The loss is on D'Antoni, he completely missed the defensive matchups, all the 2nd half, his rotations also were terrible. Great job by Rivers with the rotation. D'Antoni was only yelling at the refs, forgot to coach his team thinking that Harden by himself would win the game. Terrible coaching.

Same old Harden,

when things are getting tough, always turning back to the old bad habits Harden and just trying to get cheap fouls to get FT.

No flow on the offense and his teamates are totally out of sync.

Something just never changed.

If the Rockets will have any chances to advance in the playoff, it will be because of CP3.

 

The way I feel about the Rockets right now

 

Rivers and Lou go freaking nuts from the perimeter and Ryno gets trashed.

Dude is being asked to play the five against DeAndre Jordan because nene and black suck, yet ryno gets trashed.

 

I honestly think that comes from Harden.

I'm not saying it is a bad thing, but without a guy like CP3 on the team...yeah it is.

They look sharper more consistently when he's out there and they argue more on the court. That's a GOOD thing, that means they care that they let that guy get a layup and will try to prevent it. With Harden solely out there it seems leads like that easily slip away...

Especially since CP3s main role is to spell Harden and prevent those dry spells when Harden goes out.

 

This is why I chucked when people said we were ready for Golden State

 

I'm officially not excited about this team anymore.

lots of players are having career nights against us.

I don't care who's injured, you don't lose back to back games against sorry teams when you have an MVP candidate at home.

I'm disgusted right now.

 

Clint really masked how terrible our defense is. Also turns out we got 7 points from 2 bench players that are deemed "unplayable".

And people are seriously blaming him for getting crossed by a PG.

That's on the team that they constantly let them get that switch. They should have fixed that.

If he gets paid 20 mill he should be treated like he gets paid 20 mil. RUN A FREAKING PLAY! They ran a play to begin and he got 5 quick points then he got nothing else.

 

Why? The Rockets were without three of their 5 best defenders. Including their best perimeter and interior defender.

I think it was pretty predictable honestly.

 

Dj played well.

Team fell apart when we didn’t get any calls. But come on just forget about the refs and play your game.

Last time against LAL we didn’t get any calls and we should have gotten that offensive foul on Brewer. Still Harden goes into passive mod instead of trying to keep on scoring.

2 loses we need Luc and Capela back. We have no bench without cp3 Luc and Capela. That’s why I wouldn’t mind DJ here instead of Capela. Because Dj is more durable than Clint plus he goes strong all the time.

What is 51 points if we lose. Means nothing. But Harden needs to score if no one else besides him and Ego are scoring.
