It will be Lin's fault again.

22/7/6/5 for Lin and 8 TOs

Anyone else on Clutchfans think JLin7 might actually be outplayed by CP3?

    Or is it just me.

Be careful cause last time someone made a bet like that Linsanity was born and Glen Rice didn't have a field to run to...

On the Rockets ... not sure if you guys have noticed, our record against the western conference teams actually only places us 11th in the West, and only minimally above Dallas and Phoenix.

Even worse than the Lakers. POR, UTA and MIN all have significantly better conference records than us.

And we are tied with OKC and the Wolves for the 2nd least games played against the western conference.

And with Dirk back for the Mavericks and Gordan for NOH, the only relatively easy games going forward will be against SAC and PHO.

Without a trade before the deadline, I think we may have a hard time making the playoffs.

Might not? Lol Lin will get torched as will Douglas. Our only hope is to make CP3 a scorer and hit our shots.

It's interesting he keeps stating that Lin isn't this or Lin isn't that, but hasn't come out and state what he expects from Lin in terms of production. Maybe he has unrealistic expectations, like he wants Lin to average 20/10 with 50+ fg%, 40+% 3pt shooting percentage and 1 TO per game?

Some LOFs have assured me that CP3 would backup Lin on the Rockets, so I look forward to seeing Lin destroy Paul.

In all seriousness, this will be a hard one to win. We'll need Morris and Parsons to score big. And I'd be especially happy if Morris and PatPat get some rebounds.

CP3 is the best PG in the NBA and arguably one of the 5 best players in the NBA.

Expecting any single individual to "shut him down" is as silly as expecting one person to shut down Tony Parker. It takes team Defense to shut down a player like CP3, and even then he'll still get his.

People really over focus on the idea of "match ups" at the PG position. Yes, Lin will be guarding CP3 a fair bit, however expecting him to "shut down" CP3 is silly.

It's like thinking that Greivis Vasquez shut down Lin... a ridiculous notion. If Vasquez shut down Lin he shouldn't have gotten to the hoop at all. Instead nearly all his shots except for 3 x 3 point shots were at the Rim.

Basketball is a team game, a detail that sometimes gets lost in the mix.
