    Not the rigt place to vent but my bball buddies annoy me dissing certin players on the team and prasing others when they havent watches one single game this season...

    These ESPN dudes are still saying there was no scouting report last year, and that there was no time to read it in a lockout season. lol.

    ya know no one is talking about the 38 points, its like it didnt happen.....its just Lin isnt playing well.... theres real questions after that 38 point night....

    You are misreading my post. I said from the start, coaches will no doubt feel the pressure (fans, media, Morey) if not start Lin or bench Lin. Does that mean they base their decision purely on pressure? Hell no. They will make the decision best suit their own interest: win games. They will make the 'right' decision while at the same time feel the pressure from unhappy fans/ Morey/media. You sound as if the two things were 'either or' situation, they are not.

    FWIW, When Woodson took over, he said something like he didn't know if he would start Lin. Right before the game on TV, Mike Breen asked him directly that question and he said Lin would definitely start. Just like the other times he gave contradictory answers. How much that answer is due to pressure (media, GM, or even Dolan) and how much is due to the fact he didn't have better players than Lin, only he himself knows, neither you nor I know for sure. But to say he wasn't feeling any pressure at all is just absurd.

    They may be right, if we can't fully utilize JLin here, might as well trade him. I think the ideal stat for next year to aim for is 15-6.
