Rondo to Houston... This Saturday. Soooon.

I'm kidding but it will be interesting how healthy Rondo looks. I think he is the most intriguing player the Rockets could trade for.

If Bev plays, I can see them killing each other on Saturday. Dwight needs to dominate and stay out of foul trouble.

 

There's not a clear threat for Ariza to guard. Jeff Green? All other scorers are centers or PGs.

what time do you guys think is a good time to arrive? havent been to a game in a while and since its opening night im sure there will be a line!

 

I always try and be there an hour beforehand. So if you get there around 6-6:15 you are good.

 

I wouldn't said easy win with Rondo and Bev injured.

Green for sure. Dude can be crafty scorer. Also Evan turner has horrific shot selection but can still nail them. Olynyk will find his way into some easy buckets, so we better not fall asleep. Sullinger is a big body that will absolutely abuse TJ in the post; I hope mchale uses Black on him. Other than that we just need to take care of the ball, if our PGs end up dribbling too much they will get stripped.

 

I'm hoping we can run easily to 4-0 before we hit our first REAL test in SA. Confidence would be sky high for a home game!

It looks like an easy win in theory, but you can't overlook any team in the NBA, especially one with an elite PG in Rondo. He makes the game much easier for all of his teammates as he will be elevating their play up until the trade deadline when the Rockets make a move for him. Dwight will be a matchup nightmare for Olynyk and company

 

If this team is going to make the playoffs, we have to put subpar teams away early. Tougher opponents are ahead so here's hoping we get some reliable coaching...haha

I'm not slotting this one under "easy win." Dwight should dominate, but I have a feeling T. Jones may have his hands full with Sullinger. And though they don't do much else, both Turner and Marcus Thornton can score in bunches off the bench.

 

Exactly. Look what the Celtics did the Nets in first game. This game will prove IF the team has the mindset of competing in every game and taking each game as an important game.
