Add in some layups and you could be talking about the Rox;)

The Rockets get a 25 point lead only to let Cleveland back in the game lol

The Cavs are a hot mess right now. I'd be disappointed if the Rockets don't win by at least 10.

Actually if Bennet set a new career high tomorrow I'd call for firing McHale :p

Completely false. The Rockets take the fewest shots outside of 8 feet in the league by a significant margin, and are one of three team who take more shots inside 8 feet than outside.

They are one of the top 3 teams in 3pt attempts (actually I think they are #1) and one of the lowest 3pt % at the same time.

The comment about the offense isn't accurate..... The team does run a lot of cutters off back screens, and Kyrie likes driving off of screens. The Cavs' problem is defense. The team has shot blockers, but the starting backcourt, Kyrie Irving and Dion Waiters (Waiters is often used as a 6th man), are both huge liabilities defensively. I love Kyrie, but he's maybe the worst defensive starting guard in the league. (He's essentially a score-first version of Steve Nash.) A big reason why he gets numbers but cannot win. You beat the Cavs screening the guards and shooting easy floaters in the paint. Lob plays off the pick-and-roll is also easy against this team.

The Cavs' other problem is that Anderson Varejao cannot stay healthy..... He's the glue guy on that team. A versatile big that makes Kyrie a lot more dangerous and the team a lot better defensively. He's also a monster on the boards. But he's out. Without him, the Cavs become a doormat team.

That said, don't take the Cavs lightly. We did that with the Bucks at home last season, and look what happened.

This should be a W but the Rox has lost to nobody teams often so who knows. One plus thing for us is that Kyle Irving is wanting out of Cleveland, so perhaps he will not be beasting on us. If he does, we can count on Bev to stop this speedy guy.

I don't get your point. Are 3pt shots the only shots that qualify as perimeter shots? The Memphis Grizzles take the fewest 3 pt shots in the league, but they only take 0.3 fewer shots/game from 16 feet and out than we do. They are the only team that takes fewer shots than the Rockets from 16+ feet.

Additionally, the Rockets get 30.6 points from those shots, while the Grizzles, who shoot better from 2 and 3, get 27.6 from those shots.

Go into Dwight early and often. Hopefully Harden is healthy enough to play, maybe Cisco as well.

At this point in time the second seed is there for the taking if we can finish these substandard teams. We have a mix of teams we should beat easily unless we beat ourselves and some teams that are just below us. Finish with the Clippers.

Agree, need to be aggressive on him. If we can make him go 1 on 1 often, hopefully his teammates won't be engaged on the defensive end.
