I'm a Russ hater but I'm seeing a whole lot to like tonight. If he keeps this up he just might win me over.

 

WB literally is a freight train. This is such a pleasant surprise we look like the 2005 Suns

 

All WB needs to do is forget jumpshots, push the ball at 200mph every time down the court, attack the basket, and either find the open shooter or take it strong to the rim.

If he does this at least 75% of the time he gets the ball, this team becomes very tough to handle.

If he settles for the jump shots, we become very easy to defend.

 

Yea, that's going to require rest to heal and with the West this deep this year that's not going to happen.

 

Draymond Green punks a lot of dudes.

 

This is about what I expected out of Russ.

He's not gonna be efficient and he's gonna make some head scratching plays at times, but he's gonna also make plays that only superstars can make.

Like I said after the trade, this is the most shooting around Westbrook he's ever had. He's absolutely creating stupid wide open looks for the others.

 

Offensively it hasn't been the best of halves for Capela, but I thought he did a solid job on defense. Having him in there, and Tyson backing him up is going to be a great punch at the center spot.

 

If he continues to blow up the passing lanes on defense and push the pace, I can deal with the occasional long jump shot.

 

WB looks really good, the pace adds another dimension to our offense and we’re getting easier/open looks in transition.

But I am concerned about that dislocated finger, his shot looked terrible and he was holding his hand after this last free throws
