    That's easy.

Start recording the play offs. Watch Game of Thrones (45 minutes). Switch to the play offs and fast forward through all the commercials, boring bits and packages at half time when instead of doing a Rockets analysis, they talk about the Heat. :p

Your certainly right. The playoffs are indeed a second season. Lets hope momentum is something reset to equal for both teams for the beginning of this series.

If that's his endgame, then he really shouldn't be rooting for McHale's Rockets to bring home the championship.

IMHO momentum isn't as important as in the other sports like say the NFL or NCAA. Due to the 7 games playoff format, the better team almost always win because let's face it, even if you have momentum it is quite hard to win 4 games against a straight up superior team.

Barring some crazy career ending injury to Dwight/Harden or LMA/Lilliard playing absolutely out of their minds for four games straight I think we have this one locked up.

I agree. If any momentum exists, it will be most foreseeable in game one. If the Blazers get beat, especially if badly, whatever momentum they had will be gone.

Rockets in 5 games. Stop being nancies about it. They're going to win and win decisively. They're a better team than the Blazers, as they've shown all year long. When this team is focused, they can play with and beat anyone. They'll be focused.

I think the Rockets will lose in the WCF to the Clippers.

Other than that, I think they can beat any other team. The Rockets athletically are top 5 in the league and will struggle against more disciplined teams that are just as athletic(Thunder/Clippers)!

Spurs are the most disciplined team in the league, but the Rockets overwhelm them from an athletic stand point.

Clippers will win the chip this year. The reason is, Blake and Deandre's improvements.

I think the unfocused, stumble, and fall finish to the season have some fans on edge. Injuries yes, but the Rockets seemed to stop playing defense. No, they stopped playing defense, gave out career nights like free popcorn. I have said repeatedly that I hope they can flip the switch, hit the gas, and light the fires because if they play like they have the last two weeks the playoffs will be a shocking and sad experience for both us and them. And if it takes them a game or two to snap into reality it will be too late.

I'll assume what you predict will come true---they will be focused. Then, we are good.
