I can't imagine how the players feel in the locker room right now. Must be sick to their stomach for making so many bad decisions.

Because Asik is a marginally better foul shooter than Howard. And last season when OKC went to Hack Asik in Game 5, he stepped up. It's a gamble, but not as big a gamble as giving up your entire interior defense by leaving BOTH centers on the bench late in the 4th quarter.

The team defense didn't work because there is big hole in it. Before Harden start play serious defense, Rockets won't be a contender.

Asik has improved his ft shooting. Look at his ft% the last month or so.

What a way to begin a Monday on my side of the globe.

On a positive note the Blazers barely beat us on a horribly officiated game for both sides.

But there are clear things though.

    1. LMA is an experienced beast, he's going to score on us but perhaps not 45+ every time.

    2. Harden needs to elevate to super saiyan beard for the next games.

    3. Our defense sucks like a cliche phrase and whichever team that gets their D going for them will win this series and hopefully we do from here on.

Aldridge lighting is up for 40+ and Mchale decides to put harden and parsons on him. What a joke

The ultimate undoing of this team is not McHale or the players. It's Morey's philosophy of threes and layups only. This team takes way to many bad contested threes. Hey Morey your the gm not the coach so don't tell our coaches and players to play YOUR style. If you want us to play your style, how about you step down and coach the team.

It doesnt matter if Dwight is 2/6!! he will get his rhythm the more he get there. PLUS he is still on the floor to defend. even if he gets 1 point in that stretch it is still one point that we didnt get with him on the bench. You bring in Asik and you still bring in a player they will Hack before the 2 minute mark, that's why Asik wasn't in. KEEP DWIGHT IN THE GAME!

Damian Lillard and Lamarcus Aldridge are big game players. The only way to beat this team is to make plays consistently. They're not going to let up.

But they need a better TEAM defense. Think of the Van Gundy era. There were plenty of not-so-good defenders on this team(it's not like Steve Francis or T-Mac were ever considered great defensive players). But he had them playing great D as a team. You can't have an entire team of Pat Beverleys or Dwight Howards out there. But if you institute a system that incorporates all 5 guys on the floor, it'll mask the defensive deficiencies of some of the weaker players(like Harden).

Not good! Last season Rockets lost Lin to injury, and this season Bev?
