If this game is close, Toney Douglas will shoot you out of it. *shakes head*

This backup PG situation is terrifying, really.

Oh, I just remembered that Jared Jeffries was traded to Portland. I hope Lin doesn't pass the ball to him out of habit, LOL.

Now there's a worthy measuring stick ahead of us. I'd be be happy to just see a good effort by the team.

Fitness is an issue, Portland too.

To win we are gonna need at least a third contributor on offence. And some noise from the crowd.

Would love to see a rookie or two playing, in non-garbage time as well.

    Go ROX:grin:

Same here, sleeping is tough when you have a hard-en:grin:

    Excited about these matchups:

    Harden vs. Mathews
    Lin vs. Lillard
    Parsons vs. Batum

Maybe Mchale will play some rooks, release TJones and Royce coach!

I hate to say this (because 1. small sample size and 2. Douglas is so nice and works so hard) but hopefully White or Machado will see some time at the PG spot. Can't be much worse, right?

I'm sure they still share the bromance. Jared Jeffries is a pretty good guy from all accounts. Looks like he's serving a mentor role over there.

I watched Jeffries play as a Blazer in a recent game. He's still the same scrappy player. I say that affectionately. :)

Someone needs to tell Royce White do not tweet win predictions that could give Portland extra motivation if they see it:

McHale will have to play some rookies tonight or we're going to get smoked. They already seemed a bit tired yesterday, settling for the long bomb early and actually had to work hard at the end of the game so you can bet your ass we're going to see a lot of missed shots again. We were rebounding like crazy yesterday and it's funny that even with us outrebounding them by 20, we still needed Harden to have 45 to win this thing :)

So in short, we could win if:
    - Harden has another crazy night
    - Lin stays solid
    - Asik is the rebounding machine he has been so far
    - we keep our TOs down
    - our rookies get some burn and play well
    - we actually play good defense all game long, not just a few players!

That's a lot of ifs but Portland played last night as well and got beaten. That might give us an edge but they're still very big and solid at every position. Not going to make any predictions, so far I'm 0-2 in those.

Hnesty Aldrich looked like garbage last night. Why not play the big monti behind Asik, Jones behind pat pat and Morris behind Parsons.

The Bench is the only worry I have. Can't be playing these two dudes so many minutes. what if parsons took on the role of super sub and played 34 minutes but comes off the bench? I'd rather he have the ball in his hands than douglas. the beard v batum should be fun.

They're gonna be tired too. A lot of their key players played in the upper 30s minutes wise. Jared Jeffries may sit out the back to back, and Sasha Pavlovic got hurt so their already short rotation may have gotten shorter.

If we jump on them early we can blow them out if we play smart.
We need to kill 6'8 JJ "im not a C but theyre making me play one" hickson and "I walk on stilts" aldridge on the board. Omer should have another huge game on the glass.
