Yeah i couldn't tell if that was more about him or a slip on his part. You'd think he'd only question his own starting spot, considering Bev and Howard are locked in.

I am very impressed at the self awareness and maturity he candidly displayed in the interview. I, for one, am very happy to have him. Selflessness for the sake of the win is something I hope he can influence the other players with.

    Thanks Clutch!

I should clear up that by "slip on his part" i meant he had been told another move may be on the way and that's why he was questioning the line up, especially Patrick's spot.

As some have already echoed, sounds like a mature and humble Ariza. Looking forward to seeing him play. #rednation

Maybe he is out of the country on vacation and the call in was mainly just for the press . There might be a press conference at a later date

If I'm not mistaken, he was talking about what it was like to lead players who are better than him.

kind of a 180 from Parson's all talk show

I dig the more humble approach

looking forward to seeing Trevor on the court this year

maybe one of the reasons Morey didn't match? switch up the locker room for this type of attitude?

Leading other players who were better, not lead players who were better.

To the PR lady's credit, I'm sure she assumed she was running a phone interview for print/blog media quotations and not really considering audio files (since, obviously, there were no video cameras for this).

But the sigh was really too much. It's a good thing Ariza is humble!

First time he had to lead two players that were better than him.

I'm excited. This isn't a knock on Parsons but I'd much rather have Ariza.

My 3 free agent targets was Lowry, Ariza, and Love. Glad we got at least one of them. :)
