Robinson was brought in to rebound and finish at the rim.. both of which Patterson and Morris lacked.

He actually looks even shorter than the Morris twins who are like 6'8''...

    Thx Clutch.
Morey sounds really excited about this guy. Sounds like he's here for the long haul

According to draft express he's the same height as Marcus and Markieff has a half inch on him.

Yes but his wingspan will allow him to play bigger than his height.

    Thanks Clutch!

Interesting quotes at the end by Morey, and throughout the interview. Honestly didn't expect him to have as high of hopes for him "right away," but seems as if Morey trusts this move.

Morey's quotes at the end about the Euro players and front loaded deals just made me laugh. Thank goodness we have such a good GM! He got a lot of bashing, and maybe so, but he turned the ship! He is two moves ahead already right now for the summer!

Not even being biased as a Rockets fan, but I think we made the best near-deadline trade. And on top of that, Daryl Morey was kind enough to consider reuniting Patterson with DeMarcus and allowing Morris to play with his twin brother again.

If that doesn't show the NBA how good of a GM Daryl Morey is, then I don't know what else he has to do.

Thanks Clutch~ Solid video, good info.

Looks like TRob will get a fair shake at the pf position. Let's give him a test drive.

I think it was in reference to trading 2pat to SAC.... and trading TD..

TD worked his ass off to win a spot on this team all summer and he was doing a really, really good job for us before this trade.

Also all of the Rocket players have bonded and become really close friends this year and the trade of all three players breaks up that teammate/friend, chemistry that they all had.

All of the guys have been real close friends.

I thank that's what Morey means when he says he is sorry. It's an apology to the team.

I agree with this... he will work out with the team and get to know his team mates for a bit then go to the Vipers to get some burn time.

He's a good shot blocker too... But he still may need some burn with the vipers before getting a lot of minutes with the Rockets. In the end it will be up to the coaches.

Wasn't Bobby Brown on the Rockets a few years ago?

Greg Oden would be nuts. Need another defensive big.

A back up center. Robinson at just under 6'9 is not a backup center.
