Sure he says that now, of course he's not going to say it was for Drummond or any other player.

Bobby brown sounds like a really interesting option. Given our free roster spot and documented need for PGs, would make a lot of sense if we signed him for the rest of the semester.

He's a top 5 pick. He's definitely getting more PT than those two in very short order.

If Parsons starts at the 4 and Robinson gets no playing time and goes the D league route there's a chance the Lakers will give us a very tough push for that 8th seed. Hopefully McHale doesn't play games and gets TRob and DMo plenty of playing time.

But we might play better with Parsons at the 4. Giving DMo and TRob plenty of playing time might not be best decision right now. I trust McHale to make the correct decision, he's done a great job so far this season.

McHale has stated the kid will need to specialize in something to get on the floor. Hopefully, Robinson will get his rotations down well enough to allow his rebounding and transition scoring (the 2 things he statistically excels at so far) to be an asset to the team.

We probably won't see him get much time until he earns McHale's trust in practice. Will be interesting to see how McHale handles the 4 spot. He won't go small 100% of the time?

Thanks for the post. Good interview. He sounds as surprised as McHale. I think it will take him awhile to adjust but in the end he is just ore talented than Morris and Patterson and if he can learn should be a great addition.

I also trading Morris was the right move. Mchale would have never played Robinson and Dmo ahead of him. I still wonder if Mchale will play Dmo much. Dmo looked out of sync last night which is to be expected but Mchale wants to win now and DMo still looks like a liability on the court. Not saying he cn't turn that around but the fact is he is unproven and unpolished.

Seems like a good kid w/a good head on his shoulders. Expecting big things from the rox and T Rob. LOL @ the interviewer asking a question that T Rob touched on immediately before the query.

What I really like about Morey is that when he screws up, he gets out of it quickly. He knows Morris isn't going to hack it so he jumps out of him, sheds his salary, and gets a high second rounder. He definitely makes mistakes but he's quick to move on once he realizes it.

What's interesting is that he is smaller than either PPat or TJones. In the NBA even the undersized power forwards are big.
