I don't want Worrell to go, I love his homerism. You need one homer on a 3 man team. Wish we were replacing Clyde with someone who's more critical.

He did a great job it is time for him to go - ironically, I would love to do his job it is what my college degree is in and I used to do the SWTSU home games for the radio.

He realized we aren't winning anything the next 4 years and doesn't want to be forced to watch this crap.

I say this with as much love as possible from one Rockets fan to another; you are not photogenic enough or famous enough.

sad Bill is going, but it was coming at some point soon.

happy with the PAA change. I had grown tired of a lot of it...and maybe that just happens over time. Matt Thomas has always been "great", but he didn't do it long enough for anyone to tire--plus he got the best years, so his status is locked in :)

I'm really happy with the move. For those worried about losing Bill's homerism I think Craig will not disappoint. Although he's not from here he graduated from Sam Houston and is about as homeristic as they come.

Craig is knowledgeable and enthusiastic. I hope they weren't planning on Thomas as a permanent replacement for radio broadcasts, though he's great as a PA announcer.

The garbage performance Harden and crew gave last year gave him no more hope. We heard if in his voice a lot last season.

Worrell is never afraid to say what we are all thinking.

Is this why Joel Blank quit? He wasn't getting the full time radio gig? I like Ackerman though, he's solid. Does this team Clyde will be gone too? God I hope so.

    Thanks for the memories Billybird!

So Matt Thomas is going to Host SportsTalk 790 at 6am, Announce a Rockets game, then jump on a plane, fly to road games and announce them on the Radio?? Wow!

Do you think Craig will continue his type of play calling? He was on he radio so he was detailed about everything that was going on. Will he continue that type of play by play calling or will he turn it down and get a bit more relaxed?

I think on TV they generally give less detail

Love Bill. I could listen to him and Calvin all day. Through the bad years (after Olajuwon), I would watch the games even if we were getting blown out because they kept me entertained. Hope to see Calvin do a couple games with him.

Sad to see Bill go. Ackerman is fantastic, though.
