Drew Gooden is on waive or a free agent.
Why isn't he mentioned? at least a 12 and 7 guy

He's due to come back in 6 weeks. His contract is for 4 years. You don't trade away substantial assets just so you have Omer to fill in for Sanders for 6 weeks.

Probably because he sucks. Why do you think that none of the other 29 teams in the NBA have touched him?

Nerdy white espn guy said he thinks Greg Monroe may be available, then screamed Asik to Detroit. We would still need a 3 shooting pf but what are ur thoughts

I respectfully disagree. Herb Kohl has been punked. He signed that kid to that big money deal and Sanders goes out and blows it. I think Milwaukee would move Sanders in a HEARTBEAT if they could escape from Sanders contract. And I think they'd give up Ilyasova to do it.

I wish Asik the best and it's sad to see him go. But, he should be a professional about the whole situation. The guy is paid millions and he can't conduct himself better than this? (this is of course if he really is acting the way that it's being reported)

Most NBA teams want young talents or someone who plays more than half a season. He isn't young but he isn't Cambyman old.... I think 32 or 33.

He is a vet and played with Lebron, Spurs and the Mavs. That is a nice resume at the least.
If no trade for an impact player can be finalized, why not look into cheaper options?

i don't believe the value is getting worse. Clutch never mentioned in his article regarding the value. Clutch also said it is no secret that asik will be traded. it is pretty much known by everyone. so there is no value issue. only legitimate concern is the timing. right now, not a lot teams are seeking for trade. they are not in the state to trade their elite players right now. that is the problem.

Double trouble? LOL. This is in Morey's inbox. Why worry? It is a nit. Literally not something the fans should worry about.

Would love Monroe, but why would Detroit when they already have Drummond?

Can Sanders' contract, extended starting next season, even be traded (unless a team has the cap room this year and next)?

I really hope we never see Carlos Boozer in a Rockets uniform. I've never liked his attitude.

Hope Howard remains healthy.....or you truly have double trouble. Sad but that's how the NBA runs.....Jeremy would have been in the same shoes if he wasn't playing so well. Watch, the minute Lin plays crappy his minutes will sink like the Titanic...

If we acquire him, I hope toyota center boos the ish out of Boozer

In fact I would only refer to him as "Charlotte's 2014 1st rounder"

Charlotte's pick is top 10 protected. I don't know why anyone would want that
