I read you couldn't trade picks after 2PM today. Now you just have to have a team draft a player that you want and then trade for him.
False. If anything it's rare to trade before the draft. All the fun happens when the clock starts....

I really like Murray, he's someone I'd trade the house for (outside of Harden of course). If he slips I really hope we try to trade up for him.
Where did you hear/read that the Suns want Dunn? 76ers have been looking to get Celtics' #3 pick to get Dunn... <blockquote class="twitter-tweet" data-cards="hidden" data-lang="en"><p lang="en" dir="ltr">Kris Dunn said he had "no contact" with the Suns, who didn't receive his medical records, but he's open to Phoenix. <a href="https://t.co/tKHKXkogku">https://t.co/tKHKXkogku</a></p>— Paul Coro (@paulcoro) <a href="https://twitter.com/paulcoro/status/745690876479934466">June 22, 2016</a></blockquote> <script async src="//platform.twitter.com/widgets.js" charset="utf-8"></script>
If an expiring Teague nets the 12 pick for Atanta, I think some combo of Ariza, Bev, Capela + future 1st might be able net us a top 8 pick.
Ariza, Capella, and a future 1st might get us in top 5. But what's the end game? We would have major holes to fill and would need to most definitely max two FA's out.
I actually think he will set his plans for FA this draft and shed contracts like Ariza, Bev as reported. It's just for what is my main concern. Fans will probably be mildly disappointed, but we won't know until after FA if these potential trades were worth it.

i have to say, that after several disappointing draft nights in the Morey era (starting with his first draft when he traded Rudy Gay away), i will not be able to bare another disappointment. This draft is too important. If people think we can turn the ship around solely through free agency, they are seriously misguided. We cannot afford to keep ignoring the draft. Morey better come through
Basically to add a young player with real potential to be very good, while clearing cap for free agency. Would also be a good asset that could be easily flipped down the road if the right trade comes up. We won't be anything without two max players this off season anyways, if we have to clear cap might as well cash in on a top pick.
I'm sure Capela is more valuable then expiring Teague, and he netted a top 12 pick. So if Capela is valued at a 9-11th pick, you don't think if we packaged with a combo or Ariza, Beverley, future 1st, KJ, Harrell or Dekker? Come on man.
