Looks like GM Sooty missed his shot so BPA for Texans it is. The First pick of the 2014 NFL Draft is by Default For the Houston Texans Jadeveon Clowney DE South Carolina This singularly gifted athlete has been described as a once in a decade talent. Strengths. Has large strong and exceptionally violent hands. His inside move is exceptional and rarely gets beaten. Possesses a full pass rush repertoire including swim move and if he can develop a spin move will be almost unstoppable. Explosive to the rushers. Has speed and power unlike anyone recently in the game. Has amazing changes of direction. Weaknesses. Must learn to play lower to get better leverage. Because he understands moments in games, can back off the gas somewhat. When he gets tired, loses his explosiveness and tends to tippy toe instead of snapping. Any defensive co-ordinator who cannot work Clowney into his line with Watt, is not worth his salt. Someone reporting for the sidelineview said he uses his hands as well as anyone he could remember. It's late so this is a bit rushed. I would love to have been more artistic with it but I am working tomorrow and wanted to get it done so this can keep moving. RAMS ARE ON THE CLOCK starting 7am 03/26/14.
my pick has been submitted Wattafan, and should be informed in the morning...And since the Jags are i guess an auto pick, vstexas09 should be ready to go.

With the 2nd Pick of the 2014 NFL Draft, the St. Louis Rams select: Sammy Watkins, WR - Clemson raining threes is officially on the clock...8:20 AM - 12:20PM
On behalf of sugrlndkid With the #2 pick of the 2014 NFL Draft St. Louis Rams select Sammy Watkins WR Clemson Strengths Smooth acceleration and doesn't take long to get up to full speed. Follows blocks well with controlled burst to weave through defenders - multiple gears to win at every level of the field. Sharp footwork off the line of scrimmage to beat press and get vertical with his galloping strides. Terrific body control and coordination with smooth hips and joints. Good depth in his routes with quick footwork in/out of his breaks, working the soft spots vs. zone. Above average ball skills and has shown steady improvements in this area over the years. Nice job adjusting his frame and watching the ball into his soft hands, snatching the ball and quickly getting upfield. Good hand size and uses his quick mitts to pluck off-target throws. Tracks well with the hands to highpoint and finish. Good patience before bursting to top speed and sets up his routes well - veteran at playing the ball and the defender. Dangerous catch-and-go pass catcher and will create yardage on his own, forcing poor angles by defenders. Tough and will lower his pads to initiate contact. Active blocker and gets the job done in this area. Versatile experience lining up wide, in the slot and in the backfield - also as an impact return man. Productive career, school-record for career receiving yards. Weaknesses Only average height with a leaner than ideal build, lacking elite muscle definition or strength. Lacks elite speed and more of a glider. Not overly physical and won't break many tackles. Hands are steady, but he'll have his share of focus drops, especially when he hears footsteps - a few botched returns on his resume. Room to improve his reliability on 50/50 passes. Minor durability concerns. Character needs investigated - arrested in May 2012 on drug-related charges. COMPARES TO: Mix of Torrey Smith (Ravens) and Percy Harvin (Seahawks) - Watkins has the size and vertical ability of Smith and the acceleration, toughness and multiple gears like Harvin (sugrlndkid messaged me and asked me to go ahead and post his pick for him. I am in a rush this morning so apologize for the C&P from cbssports.com) Jacksonville Jaguars are about to notified that they are ON THE CLOCK!
Hey I didn't really want the Seahawks. Sorry. I'm not participating. I have a real life - ha. Godspeed.
Seem a shame to waste Watkins with Schaub ('s arm). There are other WRs in the draft, though maybe only one (Evans) worth considering at OAK's position the draft. Even signing Schaub, you don't think the raiders are still thinking about one of the three QBs? And they have so many needs, you can be happy with Mack, Barr, Mathews, Robinson, etc...
Let me remind you what I wrote: "though maybe only one..." then later: Evans is definitely the second best WR in the draft and while he is more likely going to be drafted in the teens, he could at least be an option. The team I am GMing for is looking at WRs, so I have been studying the draft crop. That said, you can read who I would be looking at if I were the raiders GM. Of course, I would also have to get a lobotomy to become the raiders gm...
Well, there's only one WR worth taking that high, and that's Watkins. Plain and simple. I don't really like Evans as a prospect. I would take Beckham JR and Lee before him personally. Too much boom or bust, and I'm leaning on bust when it comes to Evans.
Just a quick fly by What happened to "raining threes" - GM for the Jags? Would someone BPA for the Jags and PM vstexans09 for the Browns on the clock please?
My opinion...with Henne back under helm the Jags think they can get a good QB later... and they go with shoring up their DLine (bc of Gus Bradley) and pick Khalil Mack OLB Buffalo up to wattafan or raining threes to decide....though
